Discuss: Sci-Fi Recommendations
Thanks to stararnold for inspiring this week's discuss post.
A lot of us have friends who geek out about the latest sci-fi release, whether it's a Doctor Who episode or the upcoming Star Trek sequel film. Those same friends might be clueless about anime or manga though, which is tragic because Japan invented sci-fi. Okay, we made that up (non-science fiction?), but still, anime and manga are rich with bold sci-fi settings, themes and ideas. Plus, giant robots.
This week's discussion question: What science fiction anime or manga would you recommend to non-otaku sci-fi fans?
