We all know that anime is a powerful gateway drug into Japanese culture. That's why the Japanese government wisely promotes the medium internationally. Anime fans have been known to: learn Japanese, buy kimono, brave sushi, order authentic ramen topped with naruto, study karate or even move to Japan.
