Japan Bans Cell Phones In School
The Japanese Ministry of Education (plus a whole bunch of other stuff) supports the idea of a nationwide ban on cell phones in school. This kind of restriction on students isn't exactly unheard of, but I'm inclined to think they're fighting a losing battle. Source Link
