4chan's Moot And His Followers Win Time's "Most Influential" Poll
Christopher "moot" Poole, the owner of the popular otaku imageboard website 4chan.org, is the world's Most Influential Person. That is, if you would base it on the results of Time Magazine's online poll, where he bested even U.S. President Barack Obama to become the world's most influential person of 2009. And top it all off, the list appeared to be well-manipulated by "moot's followers" that the first letters of the top 21 people in the list formed the Internet meme "Marblecake, also the game". So much for "most influential"; this poll just turned all of us into lolcats. Source Link
