No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
Patience is a virtue. So why was gaming's oldest preorder just recently canceled? One gamer, whose screename is Slash000, preordered the game Duke Nukem Forever in 2001 with a $10 deposit at GameStop. This, of course is the most famous example of we'll-delay-this-game-for-another-year-to-work-out-the-kinks. Seriously, how many kinks were there? The release was scheduled in '98 and the game was JUST canceled yesterday after 3D Realms folded the same day. We don't know if Slash000 ever got his $10 but I feel his pain. Source Link
