"Dragonball" character Krillin is Japan's most popular supporting character in a manga series, according to Oricon's poll for Favorite Supporting Character Manga Ranking. Many attributed Krillin's importance in the continuity of the series as their reason for choosing Son Goku's well-known bald-headed friend. The poll, which had 900 participants, also ranked Roronoa Zoro from "One Piece" at second place and Takeshi Goda from "Doraemon" at third place.
