Last English Ghibli Feature Is Not Expected
British distributor Optimum Home Entertainment has set the release for Umi ga Kikoeru television special for August 17. Belive it or not, it's not a Miyazaki or Takahata feature. Tomomi Mochizuki licensed the manga for TV in '93. Some know him as the director of Ranma 1/2 Season 1. Optimum bought it from French licensor Wild Bunch last year. What does this mean for other Ghibli features? Only time will tell. Source Link
