Ponyo Debuts Ninth in the U.S.
Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's latest picture, Ponyo on a Cliff (Just Ponyo in the U.S.) has reportedly debuted ninth on the Box Office listing for its release. The movie grossed about $3.5 million USD, making it the 8th highest grossing anime film to date, beating out Princess Mononoke, Pokemon 4Ever and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. Source Link
