It doesn't matter. I hate them all.

Death note, code geass, higurashi. Something exciting. Gore is a plus.
One that isn't too deep, but enjoyable. Like a romance or a comedy (Ouran Highschool Host club, Special A, Lucky star, etc..)
Action. Fighting. Naruto, Bleach, things like that.
Clannad, Ef a tale a memories, things that have a deep plot that gets you thinking and grips your heart.
A beautifully written plot to show the darker side of things, like Black Butler, or Another.
Something a little more dirty ;)
Vampire knight, Uta no prince Sama, something with a interesting plot. After all, anime is for entertainment.
Something frilly and cute like tokyo mew mew, or salior moon.
