Cloud Strife is the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII. He’s a strong, determined individual with a shadowy, bloody past. The painful scenario in which the Buster Sword was handed down to him is just one of the many painful memories that torment him. He’s been forced to file away many phantoms of people who were dear to him, but still goes on to defend those he still has.
