This is my submission for the 'Elements in Anime and Manga' challange. When I first saw this challange the characters from Sailor Moon instantly came to mind as representions of various elements.

Sailor Mercury and Sailor Neptune are excellent represenations of water as both are storg, beautiful, intelligent etc.

The text "Water takes many forms. It is beautiful and mysterious, yet strong and powerful, it is life, and it is magic." I made it up off the top of my head because it best explains both water and Sailor Mercury and Sailor Neptune.
