A Daily Creativity Journal 365 Make Something Every Day And Change Your Life!

Each day I will post a chibi video game character! ^^ Please enjoy!
All characters and games belong to their respective owners.
Prompt: Make something out of paper, but don't use scissors or glue or draw on it. What now?
Well thank you, my good prompt, for mocking my abilities to create something without scissors or glue or drawing instrument. Hmph!
But in all seriousness this was really hard...
I created an origami lucky Starman from the Mario series--also known as the Invincibility Star. I ripped the paper into strips myself using that handy-dandy "lick the paper" trick, folded it, and then poked the eye-holes in with a nearby pin. Tada!

Prompt: What's your favorite animal? Use it as your inspiration today.
My favorite animal is a wolf, and my favorite video game, Okami, happens to be about a wolf. So I drew the main character, Amaterasu, lying down much like my real dog does. Ammy's reaction to her bouncing sidekick Issun is my dog's reaction to me every day.

PROMPT: The first step is the hardest, so start small and make something that fits in the palm of your hand using only the materials in your immediate environment.
So I always have markers an my sketchbook around, therefore this isn't really made of any new materials...So I decided to make it a bit more interesting and draw something that really DOES fit in the palm of your hand.
This is the Prince, the main character of Katamari Damacy, who is legitimately around the size of an AA battery. And he creates stars by rolling around a somehow sticky sphere of random colors... Here he is wearing two of my favorite Royal Presents, the hero scarf (from Katamari Damacy) and the headphones (from the sequel, We Love Katamari).
X3 Katamari <3
You know, it helps if you actually EMBED THE IMAGE. (headdesk)
