We used to do something similar to this in my gym class at school. The dreaded six minute run/walk. The basic idea of it was we would walk for half a minute, they'd blow the whistle and then we'd run for a full minute. Then we kept doing that until six minutes had gone by. Everyone hated it mostly because we're all a bunch of lazy bums. Luckily when I hit highschool we didn't do those anymore ^^
I hardly ever exercise.. ;^;' lol I'm very lazy xD but I do watch what I eat sometimes... I still eat a lot anyway. LOL Thank goodness I don't put on extra pounds though even if I do.. D:_ and diets? I'd just rather do the water diet or whatever .. xDDD That seems simplest to me, but I'd like to do the HIIT thing too.. D:_ Unless it's not recommended for my age group ;^;'
Lol, I never ask anyone that... I already know I kind of am. =O
No, seriously. I notice a marked weight loss whenever my cycle deviates from my preferred midnight-to-nine. Power-napping is cool and all, but that kind of thing is reserved for the pilots of B2 bombers whose missions run in excess of forty hours.
That, and huge breakfasts are wonderful. Makes it easier to portion-control for the other meals—especially lunch.
Ehh, don't do anything aside from regular athletic activities or exercises. Especially not diets. That's stupid for someone whose body is still burning food regularly. For food: eat smart and eat varied, but don't take up with sensationalist stuff like No-Carb or No-Fat or Atkins.
And don't EVER ask someone if you look fat. I have threatened girls I know with death for uttering that statement. =P
Funny how I decided to add in a few minutes of full-speed running to my path just two nights ago, then decided that doing that every day might make it useless. =P
Interesting, maybe I will try it out. While were on the subject, Wii Fit is pretty awesome. The exercises get easier but it tracks your BMI everyday. If you see your progress you are more likely to continue exercising. Well it works for me anyway
That sounds pretty useful! I was chubby back in high school but I used Nutrisystem and started doing martial arts, dancing, and the usual workout stuff. The martial arts and dancing were more fun than exercise and they really got my whole body working more than some of the exercises did. You never really think it's too hard until you start going full on through the motions. Good luck with that gutXD

o_O Just the sort of thing I can't do, at least not for exercising. I'm sure I can apply the principle to other things in life though. I think. XP

...I guess I have to wait to try this then. XD
Plus I'm a lazy bum, so I could do it, but I'd probably end up forgetting to later. Or something along those lines.
Neat idea, though! I'll save that tip for later. C:
