Questions

Well after a few days of thinking I have decide that I need help making a few decisions around here. First what do the recruits think of allowing Drake back into the ranks of the recruits? Secondly, does anyone have any ideas for a contest? And lastly I will take any questions you may have. Oh also I have been informed that Madara will not be posting this week, he is out on a mission and will return next week. That is all. Oh please pm me your questions since I'm having problems with the comments.-Pein

Trying my best

'You know, I hate not being able to say anything... I almost hurt Kuzu! Well... he did break my Lotus...' I snarled in my chamber. All day, I've been pacing back and forth, only able to get a bit of my feelings across when I was extremely pissed or sad. 'Someone... read minds or trigger my blasted memory before I go insane.'

Through the eyes of Alex

I was currently sitting on the man Kakuzu's bed, very confused. Who was I supposed to believe? The first man I met here or the one who placed his lips against my forehead? My mind was a blank slate. But the flashes of possible memory that I saw suggested that the stitched man was the correct one... I'd just have to wait and see.

The door opened and Kakuzu had returned from whatever he was doing with the little black cat I had kicked across the kitchen. It was cowering in his hand, I kind of felt bad for the little creature now.

"This is Jashin, a Jashinist cat that you're extremely fond of. You're not the cold person that Sasori led you to believe." Kakuzu said as he placed Jashin next to me.

But he didn't stay there long, he fled to the other side of the room. Awwww, poor thing. I got down on my hands and knees and advanced towards the poor cat, "Jashin? Here boy," I called, holding my hands out to the trembling creature.

He hissed boldly and swatted at my hand. I swooped him up in my hands and scratched his little head. At first, he was a tad bit resistant... but then he started to purr gleefully and nuzzled the crease of my elbow.

"He's adorable, I'm sorry little guy..." I brought him up to my face and he crawled on top of my head, resting there happily, I giggled a bit... I turned back to face Kakuzu and he had removed his cloak and was now resting on his bed, looking at the floor.

Something caught my eye, "There's something written on your neck... a tattoo?" I moved towards him to get a better look. It said, "Nibble Zone". What a cocky guy to write "Nibble Zone" on his own neck!

Even so, he shook his head, "One day, you grabbed a needle and thread and wrote all sorts of things all over my upper body." He pulled his shirt to the side to reveal the thing that stood out most to me when I first saw him, "Alex's", as well as small little hearts around it. Did I really do that?

"What was I? A Sadist?" I scoffed.

"A little bit, but these didn't hurt." He responded coolly, still looking at the floor.

Suddenly, I was sent spiraling through my lost memories again. Kakuzu and I were sitting on the couch and I was nibbling on his neck. In the next instant, I had a needle in my hand and I was bringing it towards his neck, 'What are you doing...' The past Kakuzu sighed, and I giggled, 'I'm marking my nibble zone, what else would I be doing?' I joked as I got back to work. When finished, I kissed him lightly on the lips and resumed my previous position under his arm by his side.

That was it, Kakuzu's room came back into view and he was at my side with a worried look on his face, "Oh... you're alright."

'What a sweet man.' Someone said.

My eyes darted around the room, "Did you hear that?"

His eyes followed mine before settling back on me, "Hear what?"

'Wait a minute... you heard me?! SUCCESS!' The same person said again, happier this time...

"You don't hear that?!" I said a little louder than intended.

'He can't hear me... since I'm inside your head. Well... I'm the harpy/succubus of our existence, you're the demon.' The voice assured me... it wasn't that assuring...

Kakuzu's hands were cupping my face, "Alex, tell me what you heard."

I stared blankly up at him, "It's in my head... Kakuzu, what am I exactly?"

"What do you mean?" His eyebrow lifted in question.

"I hear voices and I lost my memory out of the blue..." I recalled the few memories I could and looked back up, "What sort of sick creature am I?"

He lowered his head again, "You're a Harpy-Succubus-Demon combination. Alex told me that the Demon could never die, but the Harpy and Succubus could... it's weird... and I can't really make sense of it..."

'Yeah, we're a pretty confusing bunch. Alright... now that we can connect... I'm going to try my best to merge our existences back together.'

That's when my world turned black... I couldn't see a thing... I felt someones hands shaking my shoulders... but there was nothing I could do...

'I'm going to try my best.'

Oh joy.

Making Alex think she was a cold-blooded killer was the best thing I've ever done. She's calm, quiet, collected, and has attended to my every whim. These next few days, and or weeks, are going to be very... very... fun...

Only a day after taking Alex under my wing, things were looking up. I wandered out into the kitchen where I found her fully clothed in the traditional Akatsuki garb with her impaler settled right on her back.

"Meww~"

The nasty Jashinist cat wandered around the corner and started rubbing up against Alex's leg, she kicked him into the cabinets and he quickly scurried off, clearly terrified of the newest addition to the Akatsuki. The new and improved Alex. She looked up at me, "Hello Sasori-san." She bowed slightly and continued with whatever she was doing.

"Hello, Alex." I opened the fridge, just to see what we had. And someone else grabbed a-hold of the door and slammed it shut, breaking it a little. It was Kakuzu.

"Oh, why hello to you too Kakuzu, lovely day?" I sneered.

He grabbed me by the collar, "Listen. Whatever ideas you've put into Alex's head can't be-" He was cut short by Alex nearly removing his hand. She snarled, "Don't touch Sasori-san."

While she said this, I saw her eyes glaze over once more, and then quickly return to normal. Such an odd occurrence. I paid no heed as I walked out of the room.

"Hey! I'm not done with you, puppet!" Kakuzu started after me.

I turned and threw him back into a wall, "Alex, take care of him. I'm tired." I waved her off and proceeded to lay down on the couch.

She began to advance towards Kakuzu with her Lotus Impaler high above her head.

"Time to die." She said, as tears rolled down her face.

I'm a killer.

'No no no no no no no.' I started to panic as I paced around in my own subconscious. My conscious self was being led down the stairs in Sasori's basement and I couldn't do anything to stop it. I was going to become Sasori's new play thing anyway! Disregarding the fact that I tried to kill myself so I wouldn't be!

Through the eyes of Alex

It was only a few minutes ago that this red headed stranger known as Sasori offered to tell me my past. Everyone else in this place just lowered their head and kept moving on, including some odd man with stitches all over his body. When I saw him, something stirred in the back of my head, but no memories, nor anything else, came to the surface to tell me what he was to me. That same stirring in the back of my head was going on as I followed this, Sasori, person.

He only said one thing to me at this point, that I killed my entire family. I couldn't accept or deny this information so I waited for him to say more, but he never did.

When we reached the bottom of the steps he led me into a room with lots of odd looking levers and buttons with things flashing everywhere. To the far wall of the room, there were dozens of these odd looking (wooden?) things all hanging limp. Some looked like people, some looked... disturbed. Sasori motioned for me to sit on a table that was covered with blood, if I was a killer, I shouldn't mind that. I hopped up onto the table...

My arm started to hurt, all of a sudden. But just as fast as it came, it vanished. I ignored it.

"Alex." He began as he sat down in a chair and rested his elbows on his knees, "You were once a sweet, sweet little girl from the Sky Village. You were an angel. But." he paused, "On your 16th birthday, a darkness crept into your heart and turned you from Angel into a demonic monster who only wanted to kill. You then proceeded to kill... everyone. Not just your family, your friends, your lover, children, animals, no one was safe from your reign of terror."

These few details began to sink in, and I accepted them. My facial expression, never changed.

"For years, hundreds of years to be exact, you wandered the world, murdering anyone who gave you a dirty look. But, recently, you became somewhat tame. You joined us here in the Akatsuki and only killed those you chose. But, there was one man here who wished to awaken your killer instinct and use you, he wanted to use you as a mercenary... his name is Kakuzu. He is the man with stitches all over his body. His eyes are a dastardly red and green, and all he wants is money and will do anything to get it. Even put everyone we know in danger."

As I nodded, signaling my acknowledgment of what he said, my head began to hurt like mad. Something wasn't quite right, maybe it was my demonic counterpart?

Suddenly, several scenes were playing before me. All going at a speed I couldn't comprehend. I grabbed a hold of my head and pulled it between my knees. Then, one of the scenes stopped at the man named Kakuzu... and me. I was stitching something into his chest, it said, "Alex's" right over where his heart should be, and under that... a heart... the scene abruptly changed to us sitting next to each other with his cloaked wrapped around me and we looked... happy.

Then... they were gone. Who am I?

And as if Sasori read my mind, he said, "You're a killer."

"I'm a killer."

*Snarls*

You could say that I wasn't exactly happy that Alex decided to take a third route in my plan, one that didn't previously exist. I was happy that she stayed down for so long though, months. But now, she's been spotted. A naive little twig, wingless, brainless little brat. I dislodged my right arm to reveal a poisoned blade and proceeded down to the common room... there she was, unaware... I brought my arm high above my head.

"Hello." She said as she changed the channel on the TV.

Tch, of course she still has her extreme senses.

She turned the television off and turned around to look at me, "Can I help you?"

I was taken a-back how calm she sounded, I might've even stumbled. All I know is that I was staring at her pretty intently, waiting for some tell that she was just joking around and that she was messing with me... as usual.

"Sir?" Still she persisted, I decided to give into her act, or whatever it was... "I'm Sasori."

Slowly, she stood. Reflexively my arm rose in front of me in protection... but she simply bowed, "I've been told that my name's Alex, so... I guess I'm happy to meet you."

With that, an idea sparked in my head... with Alex's mind a clean slate, I could turn her into whatever I wanted! I could make her a cold blooded killer if I pleased, I could make her my slave, I could sell her off to some bandits as some whore... hmmm... what to do.

"Do you want to learn about yourself, Alex?" I offered my hand to her, "If so, I can help."

Without restraint, her hand touched mine, "That would be, that would be great." Her ice cold hand barely registered as I guided her down to my domain, "It all started... when you killed off your entire family..."

To be continued.
