Elemental Breakdown

Light Elementals
Light is one of the base elements. Legend states that when the first light elemental came into being, the human saved a unicorn from having its horn taken and the unicorn killed. As a reward for saving them the unicorn bestowed upon the human the ability to wield the element of light. Light is a tricky element to explain considering the elemental is literally using the light that surrounds us to use for their attacks and abilities.

Common Traits
See Auras- Seeing Aura’s is something that allows the light elemental to read a person’s body language. They can literally see what mood they are in by the color of their aura that is surrounding them. Though they cannot see their own aura.
See Spirits- Light elements can see the souls of the dearly departed that have not been found by the reaper to be brought back to the father of time to be placed back into the cycle of life. In a way, they are assistance to reapers because of them being able to see spirits.
Slight Glow- This trait is something that I’ve only seen with the prodigy of the light elementals. It is where their body seems to have a faint glow to them. You can’t see it during the day, but when the sun sets they begin to glow. It is only faint, but it is enough for them to be a great night light! Oh, I am going to get hit for that comment.

Basic Abilities
Light Attacks- Using the light that surrounds them, a light elemental uses this light that they can gather to create orbs, arcs, bolts, really anything that they can create with light that they can propel at their opponent. This is including using any of the other elements attacks that produce light, such as lightning and fire.
Light Absorb- This ability allows the elemental to absorb the light surrounding them and store it for later. Say, if the light elemental has stored light within them and end up in a dark room where there is no light. They would be able to use the stored light in them to produce light, though they cannot reabsorb that light once they have used it for another ability. This ability also allows the light elemental to bring up their core temperature just a little so they can handle a bit more of a cooler temperature.
Unseen- Using the light partials around them light elementals can make themselves appear invisible to the naked eye. This allows the user to go unnoticed for a certain period of time. The max amount of time I’ve seen this ability used for is approximately one hour. From what I’ve been told this ability takes a lot of mental energy to use.
LightWave- The light elemental is able to use their stored light within them and emit a large sock wave of light that is a bright flash. This light wave has the potential to knock an opponent back if enough force is placed behind it on top of sending out a blinding light that will immobilize their opponent for roughly five minutes after long periods of training.

Advanced Abilities
Light Shield- This ability allows the light elemental to create an iridescent shield that is made of light. This shield is able to reflect attacks away from whoever the shield is placed in front of. The shield is more effective when created in a dome like structure that protects the light elemental and whoever else they decide to place it around. Though if the light elemental is to leave the dome the dome will shatter more quickly than if the light elemental had placed it in front of someone else.
Reflect- This is the upgraded version of their ability Unseen except for this ability the light elemental does not need to use their stored light. They can use the light around them to reflect it onto an object to make it invisible. To this day I have not seen the ability successfully used on another person.
Negate Light- The ability to negate all light and turn a room into complete darkness. This is an extremely difficult ability to master. I have only seen a few light elementals completely master this ability. One of them being the light prodigy. Negate light is when a light elemental absorbs all of the light within a room into their body and makes the room shrouded in darkness.
White Light- Taking the rare trait of the prodigy to a new height the glow becomes a halo around their body. Their eyes turn the lightest shade of their natural eye color that they possibly can, but do not go white. With this ability the prodigy of light is able to heal their wounds along with anyone they see fit that needs to be healed. It also allows the light elemental to give himself and his allies a status boost, if you will. Rising their abilities to the max for a short period of time. Though this ability is not particularly dangerous to anyone in particular, while using this ability the light prodigy is also absorbing light at an amazing rate and once their body has reached their capacity of how much stored light they can hold they end up becoming over loaded and the ability forces the prodigy to pass out, releasing any status enhancements that they have given to their allies.
