Plot: When the new version of the popular MMORPG, "The World", comes out, an unfortunate oversight leaves Tokio Kuryu without a copy. Then a transfer student named Saika Amagi inserts him into the game. There, the legendary player, Kite, and a strange enemy are fighting. When Kite is defeated, he tells Tokio to gather his comrades and their "chrono cores". With that, the stage is set for Tokio's quest... (B+)

Other: "Link" (alternatively titled "Twilight Knights") brings together the protagonists of the other .hack incarnations to fight alongside the hero, Tokio. It's fun to see old favorites return to the stage.
