Plot: The Media Betterment Comittee excercises censorship over books by sending agents to confiscate "harmful" books. Under the Library Freedom Act, libraries have secured the right to make all books available to patrons and have freedom in collecting their materials. The libraries establish defense forces to protect themselves from the MBC.
Following the "prince" who saved her and her favorite book a few years prior, Iku Kasahara joins the library task force. Under the guidance of the short-tempered (and short-statured) instructor Atsushi Dojo and the laid-back instructor Mikihisa Komaki, Iku puts her all into learning the ropes of the Library Forces and protecting books from the MBC's censorship. Characters: Different personalities come together for a fun read/watch (A)
Art & Animation: A
Voice Acting: A
Objectionable Content: Profanity, blood, mild suggestive themes
Other: The manga has a more upbeat style, but both manga and anime have their moments. Seeing that this is a shojo manga, there are plenty of romantic hijinks when the Task Force isn't fighting against the evils of state-mandated censorship.
Overall Score: A-
