Characters: Interesting and well-developed (A)

Art & Animation: A-

Voice Acting: Original Japanese: C- / Dub: A-

Music: B+

Objectionable Content: Blood, profanity

Other: I watched the edited version on Toonami on and off, but I liked what I saw. I've only read a few volumes of the manga.

Being a historically-based anime/manga, prepare to be flooded with facts. It may be difficult to keep track of all the politics going on throughout the series.

Overall Score: B+

Recommendation: 3/5
