1. Toki Shimeru
Time to give Toki here a bit of the spotlight. First things first, the basics:

Ten Things About Toki
that you may or may not know
- In the beginning, Toki was a poor student and didn't have much athletic ability, so she struggled with her self-esteem before meeting her teammates/Keyholder friends. She still isn't very inclined to play sports, but, well, to handle that big naginata of hers, she had to shape up a little.
- Her insecurities can give her kind of a jealous streak. She takes it as a betrayal if a friend takes the side of someone she dislikes, but she hates feeling that way.
- Toki's family is made up of her parents and two siblings -- a younger sister named Atsuko and an older sister named Yumi. Yumi moved out and now lives a long distance away, but Toki still has a good relationship with her. Atsuko, on the other hand, drives Toki crazy and brings out her "evil big sister" side.
- Writing is one of her hobbies. Poetry is her favorite, but she doesn't share her writing with people because she doesn't think it's very good.
- She likes to shop for clothes. That's one of her favorite ways to pass time on weekends, especially when she gets to hang out with her classmate, Aki.
- She loves watermelon and any melon-flavored drinks.
- It's very easy to fluster her.
Toki is related to a very important person in the Gates.- Her nickname is "Squirt", courtesy of her best friend, Kita. She doesn't really care for that nickname, but she lets Kita -- and only Kita -- get away with it.
- Out of all the Water Keyholders, Toki is the first to learn how to really control her minor Water Key. The others can all do basic things, like teleportation and limited telekinesis/barriers, but Toki is able to manifest her Key's power in a variety of ways that surprise even her elementalist teammates from the Gates.
