He's my newest character, and while those in the dis-colour group may know him, others of you may not be as familiar.

Ten Things About Khalil
that you may or may not know
- Khalil comes from a well-to-do family and has kind of expensive tastes, especially in food. He keeps a good poker-face most of the time, but, give him some nasty food, and he will show how he really feels about it.
- His name means "friend" in Arabic -- and though he's stand-offish due to an earlier trauma, once he considers you a friend, he will not turn his back on you.
- As per the setting of this RP universe, the only color that Khalil can see is ice-blue. (In this universe, the majority of people can only see in black & white.)
Khalil has panic disorder. He may have had a milder case before he was institutionalized, but the drugs that are given to him to take away his ability to see color, as well as other things happening within the walls of the Facility, have worsened it.I have to revise this. Khalil is prone to situational panic attacks, but he does not have the full-blown disorder (a fear of the next attack, avoiding certain places/situations, etc). The medications are triggering them more often. He hates letting people see him like that because he doesn't like causing worry or trouble for others.- His father is the owner of a profitable company, and his mother holds a prominent position in a small law firm. His older brother, Derek, was in line to join his father's company, but his father favored Khalil.
- Khalil loves music, and his father started teaching him the violin when he was seven. Since Khalil was trained in Classical music, that's what he's most familiar with. He plays quite well, and one of his aspirations is to play professionally.
- Books are Khalil's second love. Partly because of his mother's insistence that he get into top-grade schools, most of the books that he reads are academic in nature. But he also just has a love of learning. (He reads about music theory, too.)
- His third love is the outdoors. He feels like he can let his guard down and actually relax outside, especially when he's near any water or under a clear sky. Seeing his color in the sky, the water, or even snow puts him at ease.
- An injury damaged the vision in Khalil's left eye. Because of this, he has poor depth perception -- so he doesn't do well in crowds, often bumps into things, and is very bad at any game or activity that requires him to aim at something from a distance.
- Khalil may speak politely and aim to please, but he's actually stubborn deep down. If he really wants or believes something, he won't give it up. (And if he actually speaks bluntly or raises his voice, that means there's something seriously wrong.)
