Been a while since I've done one of these, huh?
I've been at my current place of work for going on two years now, and that's going pretty steady. Still mainly drawing on the weekends or if inspiration hits at night. (Most of it has been for RPs on DA, though. Clicky here if you want to check that out.) On the writing side, I'm a little bit stuck... I'm trying to get back into it, though, and maybe some Eternal Rain universe art will follow. (Rain's sequel needs a TON of work.) I'm also posting an older story, "Dreamer", and tweaking that a little. Otherwise, I'm still around peeking at everyone's submissions/world posts.
I saw "Your Name" in theaters! It was a beaut' to look at, and the story's really good! :D They did a great job on the dub, too. Also saw GiTS. My biggest complaint was with how they handled the characters in comparison with the original (though I've seen very little of the original). But I enjoyed the movie, anyway.
Anime/manga-wise, I'm mainly continuing series I've already started. With the exception of "Your Lie in April". Keep hearing how good that is, and though I've been forewarned of the ending, I'm enjoying thus far. Soon as I'm finished, there'll be a new review in my World of Reviews. ^^b I've got a couple of other things I want to add over there, too.
So, there've been a couple posts on this already, but I guess that thing where theO was down was for maintenance? I'm cautiously optimistic that means the front page will get the updates that Adam talked about a while back. On the other hand, there was no word ahead of time, and this place has been kind of a ghost town. So that was a bit scary. Groovy Boar wrote this post about how pulling away because the site's been inactive won't help it be more active. With summer on the way, maybe we can try to whip up some activity. Anybody want to put our heads together to set up an event? (I'll try to come up with a challenge or two, too!)
