First off, let me warn you that watching an action anime for me was loooong overdue. So I was very excited watching this show. So if you don't like it as much as I do, take it from my perspective, because I haven't watched an action series in a while. ^^;

Plot Summary - Several years after the end of a war, the city of Toshima has fallen into decay and been taken over by the crime syndicate Viscio. There, the head of the syndicate, Il Rey, has convened the battle game "Igura." Meanwhile, Akira, falsely accused of a crime, has made a deal to earn his pardon: go to Toshima, defeat Il Rey, and destroy the syndicate.
My First Impression - The graphics in this series was really neat! I liked the way it was drawn, and I really like the plot of the anime. There was a very interesting plot twist. Warning: towards the end of the episode it gets slightly gory (excess of blood), so if you don't like things like that, I suggest you do not watch this. And surprise, surprise, Jun Fukuyama voices one of the main characters! Although, that character was not in this episode, I still find it hard to believe how many series that guy is in! Other than that, the drawings were great, and I love the plot, so I definitely recommend this to you shounen lovers out there!
