Why is the pilot of the Gundam Dynames (or, as I call it, the Sniper Gundam) called Lockon Stratos? Because he can lock on from the stratosphere! *ba dum cha*
In other news, the semester is almost over. One more week and then finals week! And then it's Christmas time. I still need to get gifts, but no one has given me their lists! Aaaa! That is so frustrating!
But yeah, can you tell that I'm on a Gundam 00 kick right now? The boys in there are so good looking and none of them wine! (Major plus, the lack of wining.) However, Tieria is a major jerk, no matter how pretty he is (and he looks like a girl, even), Setsuna (the main character) is cute but too young for me (all of 16 years old...), Alleluja has a split personality (and I think the other one is called Halleuja) but is closer to my age, and Lockon is older than me but is the most handsome and... least messed up perhaps? Lockon also has a Haro that he keeps with him. It even helps him pilot his Gudnam! And I think he grew up in North Ireland. And he hates terrorists with a passion.

I woke up to the first major snow of the year! Sure was pretty. Then the unfortunate things started happening.
The power went out just as I was getting up. THEN, as Mom and I were leaving the house and going down the hill, it started to sleet. Joy. And then, in town, it was raining. On top of the snow. And my feet are wet, because my winter boots have a leak. Bad stuff...
I hope it did nothing but snow at home...
How shall I start...? Let's see here...
I'm taking a class on the Arthurian Legends, and we just finished the end of "Candle in the Wind" book of The Once and Future King. I thought it was incredibly sad. Poor Arthur is old now, and all that he loved and worked for is almost all gone. The round table is broken, and has been since many of the Grail Quest knights failed to come back from the quest. Only the ones that failed came back, but they came back changed all the same. Lancelot especially. (Guenevere was not quite pleased with that...) And now Agraviane and Mordred are seriously plotting against him. You can read what happens for your self, but suffice to say that King Arthur and his contemporaries are old now, and tired out.
Here's a story scrap of how my character Nikkily (mostly called Nikki) of the Crystal Keeper Clan, describes the fall of Camelot to her son (who is nameless as of yet).
"Oi!" Nikki called to her son, who was working on putting together a model kit. "Come here, I want to tell you a story from when I was younger."
"Coming Mom," he replied, clicking a piece into place. He then set down the Gundam and went over to sit by his mother on the couch.
"Did I ever tell you that I lived in Camelot for a while when I was younger?"
"You mentioned it, Ma, but never in detail."
"Well, I'll go into detail now.
"You see, Itzal and Drakk were looking for a place where we could live for a while. You grandmother was an accomplished cook, and loved making Bubbly Pies. They were her specialty, and most places had never heard of them, so we made some pretty good money."
"Grams was Pernese," the boy stated proudly.
"Indeed she was," his mother replied. "So eventually we settled to the west of London for a time before the Round Table got work of my mother's cooking prowess. We were invited to live at court. So we went.
"Now, Guenevere was a spitfire, and so was I, so we got along splendidly, despite the noise. Lancelot was ugly as nothing I've seen anywhere else, but he was a very good fighter. Arthur... did his best. He always did his best.
"Circumstances made us leave for a time, during which we went back to Pern and I got Hinto here." Nikki reached up and rubbed her loyal blue fire lizard behind the eyes, making him hum quietly.
"When we came back everyone was surprised at how much I had mellowed, though I could still hold my own with the queen, though she had mellowed as well. Everyone had mellowed and aged, especially Arthur. He... made me want to cry. He looked so very, very, very old. I thought that it would not end well for him. He did his best for so long, and died of it."
"That's really sad. I think I smell dinner, though."
Nikki lifted her nose and sniffed. She smiled, "Indeed you do. I'll go get my father and we'll get ready to eat."
...Yeah. That's it for now!
Tis been a long time since I've posted then eh? I guess that's because I don't have much to post about...
My hair has grown out significantly since this time last year. It's now past my shoulders. I got a temporary tattoo last weekend at the fair. Purple and black dragon, it's nice, but beginning to fade. The fair was very fun and I had a great time. Got two new shirts, a dragon box, and a beanie of an eastern dragon. And I got to look at some kawaii bunnies. 
The next things I plan to buy are Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness (reputably ha hard game, but I'm looking for a challenge) and a subscription to Otaku USA. Yeah... I could feasibly buy them now, but I'm waiting for my next paycheck. Such is life.
