Recycled Notepads

Hey! Panou here! And here to talk about recycling, or to be more specific, REUSING! As artists, I'm sure we use a lot of paper! Even if you aren't an artist, paper is still used, wasted, and thrown away constantly~!

For several years and still ongoing, I've been keeping old useless papers from high school and just folding them in half and sticking them neatly in a big brown paper bag in my closet. (My dad doesn't like me throwing away a lot of paper~ ^^') I used to just use the blank sides as scratch paper or use them when I'm messily painting. However, when I recently found out that I didn't have anymore notepads, I began to cut some from my collected scrap papers and made what was in the above image.

The first ones I made were glued just like a notepad using liquid glue, but just a week ago, while bored one day, I cut out a lot more and just stuck on those big clippy thingies. xDD I didn't want to wait for it to dry this time *shottt* xDD

My notepads are about 2'' by 4''. I picked papers that still had a blank side to them, and I had a small trimmer to make the cutting easier~ ^^

What are the uses, you ask? Well, as usual, reminders, to-do lists, and the sorts~~ But just a few days ago while drawing this comic, I used it to quickly sketch out and plan out a specific hand position (as shown above)~ ^^

Sorry for the long read though! These notepads I made surely are very useful to me in everyday life~ And I hope some of you guys will try this out? ^^b
