Absolute Dissent

Jill Stein, Cheri Honkala arrested, call tonight's debate a "mockumentary"

To this outsider, the idea of a presidential candidate being arrested causes cognitive dissonance in my mind - a candidate for the U.S. presidency had been arrested. They were charged with "obstructing traffic" at the Hofstra University campus where last night's two-party debate was hosted. Stein and Honkala were there to make a statement on how the Commission on Presidential Debates seriously limits voters' choices, which lessens the idea of having an open, equal opportunity in a democracy.

That whole event, their being arrested, seems like a sham and a black-eye to genuine representation. Forget about "binders full of women", and start caring about how your choices are pre-selected and presented to you before you've even made any choice.
