Collection Time, Part 6

I'm pretty sure this is the sixth time I've posted on my increasing Gunslinger Girl collection, and I'm also pretty sure no one is tired of seeing it over and over again.

The bottom right item is my newest addition, Gunslinger Girl Omnibus Collection 5 (containing Vol.11-12). I never realized it until I ordered this that the end is drawing near. This is the second last collection, Omnibus Collection 6 being the last (it's not released until January, I think). Glancing at the blurb on the back, it looks like the stakes are getting higher. The last collection, 4, wasn't exactly cheerful reading, but I never really exptected that from this series. Nevertheless, I think I'm in for even more grim material ahead (which hopefully doesn't go too operatic and dramatic, something coll. 4 came close to at times). I'll probably start reading this sometime soon, after I finish another book I've been reading off and on for months now.

Until the next time I post my final completed collection (likely next year), Take care!

And by "take care", I mean I'll write some more.

Looking at my MAL manga list, I decided a while ago to completely clear it out. I don't really read manga all too much, really, apart from my GG collection. (It's amazing that this is the only series that I've also bought the manga, too. I did want to pick up the Madoka Magica manga, but I've read some reviews on the quality of the art, how the actions scenes are a tad wanting. And the Alien Nine manga's a bit hard to come by.) So, it didn't really make sense to have only a few entries for my manga list. Making it even more muddled, I've read plenty of Shonen Jump, but I don't want to search through them to figure out what volumes of each series I've read. What a pain that'd be, organizing the DBZ entries in my MAL manga entries!

Oh well, the MAL world doesn't really need to know that I've actually read a couple of issues of Peach Girl. They do, however, need to know that I'm watching Burn Up Excess!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, this is so brainless it makes the Frankenstein monster look like a Russian mathematician proving Fermat's Last Theorem. In other words, I'm enjoying it possibly too much.
