Bio: Gustave was born in France in 1914. He lived with his mother (who I haven't thought of a name for yet), his father (who still remains nameless), and his older brothers, the twins Severin and Pierre.
When he was five, he was walking with his mother in the forest. She saw a bridge going over the river and told him not to go on it. He hadn't been paying attention and went on it anyway, and it collapsed under him. His mother dove into the water, grabbed him, and held him above the current as they were going downstream. Eventually, after being pulled down the river against rocks, logs, debris, and other things, they went over a small waterfall into a calm lake. His mother managed to swim to the edge and crawl out with the unconscious Gustave, and then laid there with severe injuries and a cracked skull.
Some hours later, Gustave awoke next to his mother who had become pale and stopped breathing. He tried to wake her up for an hour and a half, until he was found by his father, brothers, and their hunting dogs. The head of the household quickly jumped to conclusions and he and the twins blamed him for the loss of the wife and mother. This resulted in fourteen years of abuse.
When Gustave was nineteen, he was walking around the city where he met Korbin in a music store while he was purchasing a violin. He talked to him and when asked, played for him. He then was offered a place at Korbin's home where he would be apprenticed in music, and get a further knowledge of reading, writing, art, etc.
A few months later, he found Korbin feeding on someone, and was turned a few days after. He started to hate his life as a vampire.
Now, he lives with his friend Benji, a werewolf, and works at Wal Mart. He is also a part time waiter.

Bio: Riki was born a regular fire/darkness demon mix. When he lost a bet with his cousin when he was 18, he had to get a tattoo. He cried the whole time because it hurt. A year later, he was kidnapped and forced into vampirism by his creator, who he still doesn't know to this day.
His first relationship was the one that made him happiest. The guy he was with was murdered by some unknown person.
His second relationship was terrible. He was badly abused physically, verbally, and mentally. He was stuck in it for years because he was afraid of the guy hurting his family. Finally, the tragic death of his parents gave him the courage to break it off and leave so he could raise Tsuki, who was two at the time, in a safe environment.
Later, he met Kai when Kai saved Tsuki from being mugged and was wounded because of it. He asked Kai why he saved Tsuki, and he said it was because for some reason, she reminded him of the little sister he lost when he was younger and didn't want anyone to experience it. He insisted that Kai stay with them until he got back on his feet when he learned that Kai didn't have anywhere else to go, and then they eventually somehow started a relationship.
He desperately wants a child, but is afraid to bring it up to Kai because he knows how Kai feels towards children. Riki also doesn't tell some people (especially Tsuki) that Kai hits him occasionally when he's angry, because it's obviously his fault for crossing paths with the disgruntled demon, right?

Occupation: Main job is a tattoo artist/body piercer. He is also in a band and helps with random odd jobs like moving, loading, etc.

Oddities: Slightly sadistic, loses control when he's angry, loves the sight of blood and guts, always resorts to violence.

Bio: Kai was born in a canine demon village. His father was the leader. Kai was the fifth out of seven children. The eldest and the second eldest completed their strict military-like training with their father and the third and fourth (twins) were currently training. His father never had time for him and his mother taught him reading, writing, music, and drawing. His father thought that it was weak and was disgusted, and often beat Kai, calling him things such as "worthless", "garbage", "good for nothing", etc. He suffered many blows to the head, which may explain some of his mentality. Their relationship was often so bad that when Kai was a child, he would sometimes hide in a closet and not come out for days.
When he was around 50 or so, his mother had given birth to another son, who was currently twelve, and the first daughter. The new son had been weak, and the father wanted nothing to do with female offspring. He knew Kai would rebel, and sent him and the two oldest brothers (whom had started to lose interest in family matters) off to the next village over with a message. They had delivered it faster than expected and as they went to climb over a hill, the three saw their father and the twins standing over the bodies of the mother, the twelve year old, and the infant. The two elder brothers were frozen, and Kai was angered. He went into his canine form and charged down the hill. His father sent the twins up after him and he killed them instantly, biting off both of their heads. He then had a mental blackout and when he awoke, he was left alone in the valley with his dead mother, brother, and sister. It took him hours to bury them, and when he was finished, he noticed something resting on the ground- an eyeball. His father's eyeball. He angrily crushed it and smeared it into a glob of slime before running.
He travelled for years, eating whatever he could to survive to prove that he wasn't a weak, worthless, good for nothing piece of garbage. His diet ranged from rodents to humans and eventually, he found himself in Tsuki and Riki's city about one hundred ninety years later. He saved Tsuki from getting mugged for some reason and was badly injured. She took him home with her to get him some help, where he met Riki. When Riki found out that Kai was a traveller, he insisted that the demon stay with them until he got back on his feet.
A little later, Kai still lives with Riki and Tsuki, and their puppy Eddie.
