I've been away from this site for such a long time that I really want to brag a little, haha! Anyways I may post some of my less artistic and more strict designs on here and not on my portfolio since they are in no way connected to what I do they are objects and plus they do not have colors only tones from white to black.
I also have an obsession with my icon because the movement together with the quote "Somewhere out there..." really gives me the feeling of mystery and I like Kingdon Hearts I and II because there was that feeling during the story. I have to say though that the first game I purchased for PS2, Kingdom Hearts I, is the one which I love the most!
So I was asked something yesterday by my teacher which really surprised me. The question was whether my love of art came first to my love of fashion. Of course I replied that my loe of art made me want to explore the world of fashion and I think that the period that my designs changed a lot was when I first learned about japanese culture and art . And that is how it started I still love the western culture as well!

I really like reading books before going to bed and I must say I have some that are very interesting. Last night I decided to read a guide on how to draw manga. My mother got me this book seeing as she likes seeing my drawings and plus she finds manga really interesting.
Usually I am very picky with such guides but I have to say that even though my style is really different from the one that the book contains it gives plenty of information on how to learn the basic techniques for creating a body for your character, designing the clothes, accessories, hair, facial expressions and movements. Also it has a photo shop guide on how to ink and color your works. I found it really accurate. There are demonstrations of several character descriptions and there is also a small guide on how to start a manga.
A total of 143 pages dedicated to the art of drawing manga by Ben Krefta. Most of you will stick to the art but remember that everyone must develop their own style. It is very good for those who want to learn and practice their skills at drawing.
As for the coloring I have another book that I find simply amazing mostly because it contains images of different artists and demonstrates the art of coloring in two ways the first one being the traditional one using watercolor and the second one using the computer. That one is called “Comickers Coloring Book”. Some of you may already know it.
So if you need help you can just consider taking a look at these books. Of course there are many guides that you can buy at reasonable prizes. I must say that even if you already know how to draw manga or anime you’ll get some really good ideas. I am thinking of buying more guides in the future because there are so many things that might influence me…

Actually no, but there are a couple of them which I’d like to read like Umineko na ko koro ni (well Higurashi in particular). But I have tried reading samples…
3. Do you have a favorite female character from a manga or an anime show? What do you like about her?
It would be definitely be Yuko from xxxHolic. What can I say about her? She is a very energetic and playful plus I like her outfits and the whole concept about her being the witch of space and time really is a plus since the first time I watched the show I couldn’t believe that what I saw was a witch. She is charming and mysterious and I like how she interacts with Watanuki. Also she seems to have a wise understanding of human nature.
4. Favorite male character?
That would be Mello from Death note because unlike all the other L successors he seems more human and I just like the way his thinking is influenced by his emotion. I guess that impulsiveness is really an attractive feature in male characters in anime. He is not afraid and plus they really did a great job with his english voice. He is so dynamic and I like how he cares about his friends and wants to avenge his idol…I guess I would do the same is the person I admired suddenly died.
5. Do you know what otome games are? Have you played any and if not are there some that you’d like to play?
Otome games are much like visual novels but the protagonist (a female character) has to choose between several male characters as the plot progresses. And yes, I actually have some in mind:
Tsubasu no Oka no hime: See the trailer it has a really cool opening.
The rhythm of a love song (corda d’oro is the name of the anime): Must be really cute
6. Recently there have been a couple of new anime shows coming out. Is there one that you like and why?
Yes, I am waiting impatiently for the next episode in Deadman Wonderland, Steins Gate and C (Soul of money and possibility control)
I find Deadman Wonderland a really good anime because of the protagonist Ganta and I really think that the plot is great I mean I had to see some serious action for a long time! Originality and intelligence are two words that can perfectly characterize this anime. The animation is pretty good too.
About Steins Gate…It is a science fiction thriller and I just adore these types of anime and manga. I like the whole concept behind the strange events happening with the time and I really like the main female character Kurisu Makise. I heard it is based on a game…Really clever plot.
Now there is something about [C]…It must be the first anime that focuses on the economical world and gives us a pretty good idea of what is going on through encounters between entrees. Economy always interested me but I never thought that there would be a way to talk about stocks and bankrupting companies that way. I consider it a truly interesting anime with great animation!
7. Is there a manga you are reading these days?
That would be the Katekyo Hitman Reborn manga, the Kingdom Hearts II manga …these and a manga that my friend writes it is called “Flightless” .
8. Have you ever wanted to publish your own series of anime or manga?If yes then care to describe it?
Definitely yes! Who wouldn’t!? I’d like it to have a pretty cool title too and it would probably be under the category of romance, or thriller or mystery! It can be all of them actually but yeah…Just imagining the readers waiting for the next volume like I did with my favorite manga. It would surely feature an anti-hero but I am not sure about the title. I like titles like “When the cicadas cry” or simple ones like “Soul Eater” or “Fruits Basket”…Can’t decide it is harder than it seems…
I was thinking about creating a world so I could post some fan-art and generally discuss about all kinds of subjects.Actually I was thinking of that all along since in 3 months my little account here will be 1 year old!
