Hi everyone. :)

So, basically I would like some advice on scanning and/or photographing my art. I'm not very good at it and I can never get my work to look the same as it does in real life. It either ends up too bright, too dark, or not having enough contrast. I can never adjust the levels to make it look just right.

With this piece in particular, the colours are not as intense as the original and the contrast is not as good. I tried to edit it several times, but couldn't get it to look the way I wanted it to. Some timps on painting hair would be lovley as well.
