News: Iron Man's 1st Anime Film Now Released

Do you like Iron Man or anime giant robots/powered suits or even both? Well say no more, because today marks the release of the made-for-DVD anime film Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, spinning off from Marvel Anime: Iron Man. I don't know about Japanese release dates, but it's definetely availible in North America. In this film, Tony Stark/Iron Man must clear his name when he's accused by SHIELD of murdering innocent people (most notably his best friend James Rhades/War Machine) during an attempt to stop a violent threat, and he'll need the help of Frank Castle/The Punisher, but to make matters worse for Tony, his enemey Ezakiel Stane (son of the Iron Monger) has unleashed a deadly tech called "technovore" with Black Widow and Hawkeye trying to hunt down the powered armored superhero himself.

Japanese release dates are unknown at the moment, but it's definetlty available in North America. For all you North America-based mecha otaku out there, including those struggling to cope with both the apparent dominance of ecchi fan service in today's anime and the apparrent decline of non-comedic serious anime content, this a movie is a must-watch.

The DC and Marvel Heroes Forum: The Superior Spider-Man

Today, I post up the first Marvel topic post for The Dc and Marvel Heroes Forum. For this post, the forum topic is Marvel Comics' currently running flagship Spider-Man title The Superior Spider-Man , which centers around former villain Otto Octavius as the current Spider-Man of the main Marvel Universe according to canon Marvel Universe continuity, although Otto manages to use the superhero identity after taking over Peter Parker's body in The Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 1) No. 698. So far, the series have reached issue 4, and still remains a subject of controversy amoung Marvel Comics fans. Anyway, you the readers, are invited to share your thoughts about the comic book series so far, that is if you have been checking it out that is.

As you provide your comments in the comment box attached to this forum post, here are a few questions you my want to think about:
1) Do enjoy the dark-and-edgy content of the series? If not, do you miss the light-hearted tone of earlier Spider-Man comic book stories set in the main Marvel Universe?
2) Do you enjoy seeing Otto Octavius' handling of the Spider-Man identity and look forward to seeing more of Otto as Spidey in the future or do you feel like you need more time to get use to the character being his own Spider-Man, or perhaps you wished someone else was the new Spider-Man after Peter's apparent death in The Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 1) No. 700?
3) What is your attitude towards the rumors that later issues of the series within this year will show Peter Parker trying to fight Otto Octavius to reclaim his body? Do you feel like it's too soon? (I do notice some fans are expecting Peter to came back in his body before the release of 2014's Spider-Man movie, even though none of the Spidey films are canon).
4) What Marvel Universe heroes will you like to see the new Spider-Man team up with and/or battle against in future stories? (can include characters who live in Marvel Universes outside the main Marvelverse, like say Miles Morales for example)
5) Do you find The Superior Spider-Man could use a prime-time/late-night animated T.V. series treatment and/or even an R-rated animated film treatment, even for the sake of ensuring that Spider-Man gets a chance in having an animated version made specially for adult audiences, counting long-time comic book readers?
