Yeah, they all pretty much spoiled it for you. But Rem does the deed, thanks to Light's Coaxing. She kills Watari and L though, no more than that. She dies because she helped a human.

Kukki-chan is right. Rem killed Watari and L and maybe a few others to prevent Misa from being arrested I guess and then Rem died.
I haven't actually seen this episode but my friends have been kind enough to give me a few blow by blows.
i havent seen the anime but L is not killed by Light... Light just gets 'lucky' cause Misa's shinigami kills all the people he can to protect her from going to jail... yeap yeap... XP L!! *sobs*
lol! Well, L kinda dies twice...hard to really explain but L actually sacrifices himself for his "final death" in order to truly figure out that Light is the one killing people. I had seen the live action movies and they go through the entire series in those 2 movies and they show L's true death in that one. He seems to die happy though...chocolate bar in hand.
