I stood there for awhile after Mahl had left. His words had cut me deep. I had acted like a cheap whore and that was how I deserved to be treated. I wanted to be needed so badly...I was pathetic. My fists clenched. "D*mn you Mahl. You see right though me...why? Why do I want you so badly even though I know you have no room in your heart to love?"

I looked up and stormed out of the training room. I'll be d*mend if I let him continue to get me down! I'll show him! I'll show everyone that I can be useful! I'll make him want me! I saw everyone standing in front of the Director's office. Mahl saw me coming and I saw a look of irritation cross his face. My eyes narrowed and I pushed right past him and his little group right into the office. I slammed the door in their faces. The Director watched me as I stormed over and slammed my hands on his desk.

"I WANT TO BE PART OF THIS NEW GROUP!" He sighed. "Phenny...you really not suited to be on this team." I glared at him. "And why not?! Why do you keep me around?! All you use me for is stupid paper work!" His eyes narrowed. "Now you know that's not true! We make good use of your...talents." I stared into his eyes. "I can do it! I know I can!" He sighed again and shook his head. "You're chasing after Mahl aren't you....Phenny you're better than that. Besides it's dangerous out there fighting Demon's. And you really have no skill for battles..." I slammed my hands on the desk again. "But you're letting that little demon kid go!" "Exactly! Tatsuya is a demon! He can handle himself." I sneered. "Well with all these supposed fights don't you think they'll need my unique 'gifts' as you call them?"

He sighed tiredly and placed his head in his hands. "Fine....but I'm warning you...if I think it's too dangerous or if you continue to pursue Mahl and cause problems within the group I'll put you right back in your little office!...or maybe demote you to mail duty." I flinched at that. "Fine." I smiled and ran over to the door. I saw the others standing there. Apparently they'd overheard. "Hi there! I'm Phoenix and I'll also be joining your team!" I shot Mahl a look and saw him sigh. Hehe this was gonna be fun.
