What a dirty little trick she pulled! Using those stupid tranq darts. Good thing for me they were only for demons. She didn't take in to effect my half-human blood. Makes them wear off quicker.

I walked up behind her and grabbed the letter out of her hand, since no one had yet to notice I was awake already...cept Phoenix. He was always staring at me. Lil snot. He p*ssed me off. I didn't want someone who actually cared about me, or pretended to care about me at least. I refuse to let such pathetic human emotions overtake me. I wasn't human....and they never let me forget it. I didn't fit in anywhere so I made my own place. And there wasn't room for anyone else there.

Lila spun around to demand the letter back. Her eyes betrayed her surprise at my being awake, but only for a second. She yanked it back off of me and read it out loud. After all...she was the "Leader". I rolled my eyes. I was the oldest and I was going to have to listen to these...children.

So our mission was to go kill some nasty demons. Alright. I needed to blow a little steam. It could even be...fun.
