I didn't like how that guy forced Phoenix's consciousness away. I wasn't sure how much more Phoenix could take of that. Memnoch's will was growing stronger. All wizards who try to control demon spirits sooner or later become the ones controlled. Then the b*stard had the gull to take lil Tatsuya! Lila seemed to take it hard, but my mind was on Phoenix. Memnoch smirked at me. "Whats wrong Mahlyenki? Did you think I was gonna take him up on his offer?" He chuckled. "While it would be nice to have a body of my own...I'm very fond of my little Phoenix. His feminine body, his weak mind...so easy to manipulate, his detearating will. Sooner or later he'll be all mine." I moved fast and grabbed ahold of the collar of his shirt. He didn't even flinch. He just glared at me through Phenny's half lidded eyes. "You won't hurt me." I grit my teeth let him go. "Phoenix isn't yours." Memnoch shrugged and rolled his eyes. "I suppose he's yours right? That's why you treat him like s*it and why you dumped him." With that he turned and walked away.

"We have to save Tatsuya." Lila's voice was low but determined. Katsu looked scared. Speaking of Katsu, I walked over and before he could react I took his necklace. His eyes widened in horror. "What the h*ll do you think you're doing?!" I shook my head. "Something this valuable shouldn't be left so exposed. This makes twice you've had it stolen from you." I threw it back at him. This was a lesson he needed to learn.
