Organization
When it comes to the elemental Keys, the chain of command is very organized.
The elemental Keys are gemstones with special properties. The Water Keys, in particular, are essential to resetting the positions of the Gates.
- The Fire Keys control the positions of portals when paired with Water Keys.
- The Earth Keys are used to lock the Gates' positions in relation to each other.
- The Air Keys are an energy source for the other elemental Keys.
- In order for the Gate reset to be successful, one of each Key must be combined in a hub in the Alternate Reality Earth -- where the Key-Seekers base their operations.
The Key Guardians are individuals or groups given the authority to guard the elemental Keys.
The Keyholders are individuals who guard and utilize the Water Keys under the Key Guardians' supervision.
The Key-Seekers are an inter-dimensional group of Key Guardians who have hidden authority over all of the other Key Guardians. They started out as an organization called Fulcrum when the Gates were first settled.
- The Grand Seeker and his underlings, the Head Key-Seekers, lead the organization and take executive measures when necessary.
- Takumi is the Grand Seeker's son.
- The Key-Seekers don't trust the Keyholders.
