Before I met you the only eyes I saw were full of hatred.
Before I met you the only words I heard were angry and condescending.
Before I met you my world consisted of no one but myself.
Before I got to know you I never understood why your cheeks turned red every time I was around you. Or that the way they flushed so prettily was for me.
Before I got to know you I didn't realize how similar we were.
Before I got to know you I didn't see how strong you were.
Before I got to know you I didn't know that what you needed was what you had so easily given me.
Before I fell in love with you I didn't know what it meant to have someone that promised to stand beside you.
Before I fell in love with you I didn't know what it felt like to want one person more than anything in the world. Or to always wish to keep them happy.
Before I fell in love with you the only reason I had to fight was to prove them all wrong. Now it's to come back to you.
Before I fell in love with you, you were all I ever thought about, all I really saw.
And now that I'm in love with you, there's nothing more I want.
