She would never forget the first time he noticed her.
Determination coursed through her as she moved into a defensive position.
"I will never run away again… that is my nindo, my ninja way!"
Sky blue eyes watched excitedly.
"Go Hinata!"
'It's your turn to watch me now Naruto…'
She would never forget the first time he blushed because of her.
"N-Naruto?"
Blue eyes widened nervously as they met lavender.
"Hinata! I'm sorry, I didn't mean-… I wasn't trying to-…"
Pink tinted his whiskered cheeks as he rubbed at the back of his neck sheepishly.
She would never forget the first time he took her hand in his.
"Wanna go to Ichiraku with me?"
Her heart skipped a beat and her eyes widened slightly.
"S-sure N-Naruto…"
"Alright! Let's go!"
Her cheeks flooded pink when his fingers intertwined with hers, pulling her excitedly behind him.
She would never forget the first time they went on a mission, just the two of them.
There was nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. His attack would strike true. She would die here. There was no way to stop it now.
"Hinata!"
Sunflower yellow clouded her vision, strong arms enveloped her.
"N-Naruto?"
A small smile split his lips as blue met unbelieving lavender. Blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.
"W-Why?"
"I won't loose you Hinata."
She would never forget the time she spent at his side, waiting, hoping for his recovery.
"H-Hinata?"
"I-I'm here."
Azure eyes cracked open, a weak smile crossing his lips as he met her worried gaze.
"Thank Kami… you're okay."
"Naruto…"
She would never forget the first time he held her.
"I-I'm sorry N-Naruto…"
"For what Hinata?"
"I just got in the w-way…"
Calloused fingers brushed the tears away.
"You never got in the way."
"N-Naruto…"
She tensed when his arms wrapped around her in a comforting motion.
"Don't cry…"
She buried her face into his chest. For him she would be strong.
She would never forget the first time he kissed her.
"H-Hinata…?"
Lavender eyes looked up at the blonde curiously.
"What is it Naruto?"
His lips pressed cautiously against hers, pulling away quickly.
His cheeks stained pink as he forced a smile.
"See you later!" he called over his shoulder with a wave as he disappeared down the street.
Her fingers fell lightly on her lips, her cheeks flushing prettily.
She would never forget the first time he told her 'I love you'.
His hand squeezed hers gently grabbing her attention. Lavender met blue. Eyes widened when his lips met hers. She melted quickly into the kiss.
"I love you Hinata…"
Her heart skipped a beat.
She jumped as he wrapped an arm around her. With a sigh she leaned her head on his shoulder and knew that she would never wish to be any where else.
"Naruto…"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
It was true. She would always love him.
