Her rosette colored hair fell on her shoulders. Staring at him as he stood before her. His raven hair shadowing his even darker and colder eyes. She felt the tears coming to her eyes. "I need some space, I'll come back, sometime, maybe." He said and she shook her head.

"Not again." she whispered sadly as one tear fell onto the ground and shattered into a million pieces, just like her heart was doing now. SHe could feel it beating and aching. "Why?" she asked in a scratchy voice.

It was all going great, until he came, she feel in love again, now he was leaving again. She hugged herself and backed away from him, but he grabbed her arms and kissed the side of her face and gently let go walking away from her."I'm sorry." He said softly.

Sakura sat still at a small bar two blocks from her home. She ran her hands through her hair and shook her head stiffly. "Sakura-chan!" a loud voice came from the bubbly blonde boy, Naruto. "Hey where's Sasuke? I was thinking that we could--" Naruto instantly stopped when Sakura slammed her fist into the table, knuckles ghost white, and the wood cracked slightly.

"I should have just...kicked his ass instead." Sakura sniffled wiping away her fallen tears. "I'm sorry Naruto, I want to be alone for a while." she spoke walking off holding a sake bottle in her hand. The blue-eyed boy stood still watching his slightly drunken friend walking off into the darkness.

Sakura fell up against a wall and slid to the dirt covered ground dropping the sake bottle beside herself. Her head was throbbing slightly and her body was aching, she was feeling hungover and out of touch. Sakura took in a sharp breath and looked at her shaking hands."Who do I turn to now Sasuke, now that I know I can't turn to you." she whispered feeling her eyes burning from salty tears that wished to fallen, but she refused to cry over him.

How stupid. Stupid! Stupid!Sakura cursed in her mind closing her emerald orbs and leaned her head back her eyes reopened as she gazed into the sky. Everything is all F'ed up, what am I supposed to do, now that it all fell apart?Sakura thought trying to get back up on her feet.

She had this temptation in the back of her mind to scream, but she was hurting to bad and she didn't want to. Her heart was pounding as she stumbled over her own feet and felt some grab onto her. "Haruno Sakura, I presume?" his voice was deep and gruff. Sakura nodded her head and looked at him, but tears fogged her eyes. "Naruto is worried about you." he spoke.

"Really?" she paused and tried to stand up straight from the help of this stranger. "Who are you?" she asked rubbing her eyes. When she looked to him a small gasp came.

"Think of me as an intervetion, to stop your temptation to scream." he said simply and Sakura smiled weakly nodding her head.

"I'll be fine," Sakura paused and looked at the Kazekage himself, Gaara. "Thank you." She said softly and turned her back to him beginning to walk towards her house.

Gaara watched her walk on and Sakura stopped to look over her shoulder. "I've gotta pick myself up, cause everythings so messed up," she said to him and Gaara nodded his head. "I'll find somewhere to start." She smiled at him and began to walk again. When her back was completely turned she felt a small smile come across her face. Sakura felt a breeze and turned back around seeing a small wave of sand blow around her and vanish.

Figure You Out

I've been trying to figure you out.

I can see the diamond underneath your cold stare, I'll polish you until you shine.

I can't tell whether its love or admiration, but I know I want to be there, I want to help, I want to make you happy.

I've been trying to figure you out, ever since I saw your face. Do you love me, you act as though you care, but yet, you never show your true colors.

But I'm gonna love you for the rest of my life, I'll hold you close, safe, and tight to my heart, until my last dying breath.

I'll stand by you on the edge of the world, sea, and mountain, just understand I love you, but why can't you love me in return, am I just some pawn to you?

I say I want to figure you out, but I can't seem to grasp a hold of you. Will you notice me? Will you take my hand? We're strangers, but if you'd just talk to me, maybe we wouldn't be strangers anymore.

I want to figure you out, but how can I?

Maybe I shouldn't worry, maybe I should just let it be. Help me figure you out, I can see the sparkle underneath, I'll polish you until you shine. I want to figure you out, I want to be you're one and only.

But my dear, sweet, Light.

How can I figure you out, if you never let me in?

Come on and talk to me, don't be afraid, let me help you, open up. I've seen the dark side too, nothing you say is gonna make me stop loving you or love you less.

Light give your love to me, I want to figure you out.

She was standing under the roof of the small porch looking out into the parking lot. The skies were slowly fading away from the grey tint they once were and she took in a soft breath.

She pulled her golden hair behind her ear and closed her eyes then heard the door behind her open. She reopened her eyes and stared at the soft glow of the pavement.

Amane Misa glanced over at him as he stood still looking out at the parking lot as well. She pressed her black dress down and looked at him, staring almost. "Light?" she questioned, but he just held his hand up.

"Let's go Misa," he paused looking at her. "L will be waiting." Light said running his hand through his hair, absent mindedly making Misa's heart melt.

Together they walked to the car, Misa attempted to link her arm with his, but Light had refused her. She sighed sadly and wondered if he'd ever care about her more than just a tool. He pulled the door open for her and she got into the car waiting for him to get in on the drivers side. Misa looked at Light and he looked to her from the corner of his eye. "I'm not usually this way." Misa said and Light looked at her.

"Yeah." Light said beginning to drive. Misa looked out the window and wished she could stay in the passenger seat forever with Light by her side, even though he didn't care for her, the way she wished.

Misa was beginning to wonder if Light knew how hard it was for her to just sit there not saying a word, not touching him, nothing at all. She wished he would drive slow so they could run out of road. Light put his eyes on Misa and she caught his stare. "What's wrong?" Misa asked him and Light looked away shaking his head. "Oh Light." Misa sighed.

As they drove on Misa could already see their destination. The whole trip back had been quiet, even the dinner had been quiet, Misa didn't know what to say, Light always told her to be quiet or he would just ignore her. It was an actual date and now it was over, with not a single emotion shown from Light. Misa felt the car come to a stop and opened the door finding Light standing near the back waiting for her.

"Light, can I ask you something before we go in?" Misa asked him and Light looked to her and nodded his head one time. "Will you dance with me?" she asked and Light looked at her slightly confused.

"There's no music," he paused when Misa took his hand into hers, her big sparkling eyes staring at him. "Misa, don't do that." he said, but she didn't let go of his hand, nor did she look away. Her face looked so sad and, yet so beautiful to him. Light wasn't going to win this so he gently placed his hands on her waist and they slowly swayed back and forth in the parking lot.

After a few moments Misa thanked him and he nodded stiffly. They both walked for the front door, Misa placed her hand on the door knob and slowly twisted it pushing the door open. Light saw this as one final chance to make her happy. He reached for her hand and turned her around pulling her close. She stood there shaking slightly amazed and worried about what he was doing exactly. She didn't know why or how, but Light was gently lifting her gaze to his own and their lips gently met.

When they parted Misa's eyes slowly came open and Light's did as well. They both stared at each other, that kiss was, perfect, sweet, gentle, romantic. Misa couldn't even describe what she was feeling. Light's hands slipped away from her and he walked into the building while Misa lifted her fingertips to her lips. "It was flawless," she whispered and looked at Light's back as he walked on. "Fearless." she gasped in a low voice running inside behind Light.
