What I Like About Goku Black (DBZ/DBS)

Let me rap to you real quick before I disappear for a week.
But first, an ad for an awesome artwork. BEHOLD!

I was torn between which Feat of Fandom I wanted to do. It was either going to be a character analysis or me just ranting, and since I did a rant last week I decided to continue the trend (plus I have an anecdote for the character analysis that is still in development) so HERE WE GO!

If my previous FOF didn't convey this to you, I'll say it myself,

I am a huge fan of Shonen Battle Anime/Manga.

And w/o a doubt, my favorite and the most influential anime series in this genre is "Dragon Ball" and its sequels.

Despite this I was very concerned about the announcement of "Dragonball: Super" and even more concerned for what is soon to come of the "Dragonball: Super" legacy. Part of me believes that Super is really just a new series that is meant to attract new-generation anime fans that didn't grow up in the early 2000s but are getting into anime around the 2010s.
However, this comes at the cost of many retcons and plotholes and clichés that are repeated--much to the dismay or moaning and groaning of old-school DBZ fans.

I have my opinions, but of course, I will definitely see the Broly movie when it comes out and even though I refuse to watch "Dragonball Heroes" because I personally believe that it appeals to the LCD (lowest common denominator) of fans who just want to see absurd shit for the sake of seeing SSJ3 EVERY-FREAKIN-BODY, I am happy that this is getting traction.

EDIT: THIS POST WAS GETTING LONG SO I DECIDED TO BREAK IT UP INTO PAGES
