Well... I finally figured out what happened to that 100+ skill level... It changed when I change jobs. Lovely~. How did I find this out? I have an 81 in skill level on my RDM... a 93~ on my THF... and a 100+ on my DNC. Yeah. Made me mad. >< Oh well. Now I know.
I also learned another little lesson...
Floor kissed my PS2... My PS2 is now mad at me. My harddrive failed. Joy~. Now I get to replace it. How will I do this? Forget PS2. I'm upgrading to PS3. I have both and a wii... No Xbox though... So yeah. But now that we know what happened, I know how to fix it. Lovely~. So yeah. I get to redo all my macros anyway... AGAIN. Have fun my lovelies~, I will joy you in daylight again another day. Well, I have some good news. I now have FFXI at home. ^^ Lovely. I also got cheated out of 3 expansions and I now have to start mixing sorces to get them back so I can make sure nothing goes wrong. I have Rise of the Zilart and the other 3 I was promised were not included. Mad kitty. Very mad kitty. Oh well.
I have a tad bit of news regarding the game. Fairy has one, if not two, new players. Leo, someone that randomly desided to start again and join me on Fairy. And Bhalldur. Bhalldur is a friend of mine, so I'm very happy about that.
I don't have that much else to say, accept that I am probably going to start lvling RDM again... Oh joy~. Though chances are, I'll be taking THF to 70 first, use it for the Limit Break with Maat. I don't know if I will be able to however, but it will be worth a shot. So yeah...
I will be lvling THF again soon, as soon as I get some gilz for gear upgrades. lol I'm currently farming Zinc Ore to turn in to Talib in Bastok. One must love the Tenshodo, no? Only thing I am mad about... I lost skill for some becrazed freaking reason. I had 100, over it actually, and somehow, I ended up back at 91. Explain that one to me... I know I didn't dream the "Kiayashi learned 'Viper Bite'" or something to that extent message. But yeah, now I get to go regain all that... And hopefully push the skill up so I can get Cyclone. I need that WS~...

Haha! Yeah, I got the airship pass. Now I get to go test it. AKA, I can FLY back to <Bastok> and I can warp back to <Jeuno>. That will make my life in Vana'diel SO much easier. So yeah. :3 I can now level my lower jobs at random instead of having to fight my way back or get a <Teleport-Dem> to go half way and then run back on bird-back. FoV Reparation is a waste of tabs and I try not to use it. I need those tabs. I have gear to augment! >w< But yeah, that aside, I intend to get my Red Mage to 75 and I realy think I can do it soon. /DNC is proving to be VERY useful for soloing past level 10. I get <Drain Samba> and that makes my DDs easy to keep alive, and since it doesn't hurt my MP too~ badly, I can sub it on my mages and keep them alive while dishing out some good damage thanks to the improved DD stats. I had the wild idea of BLM/DNC the other day, and even wilder was BLM/DNC level 60 with Blackjack and a grip. Yeah, I don't know how well that would work, but I reeeaaallly like the sound of it. ^-^; I just have to get my BLM from 23 to 60 and kill the skeleton to get the scythe and test it. XD
Now, RDM/DNC I know is killer, especially if I gear for DEX and INT and <Enfeebling Magic>. Spam the right spells and beat them with the En-spells and I should do pretty good. It will also get me practice chosing and keeping spells up. So yeah, bonus to my player skillz. I am level 30 DNC so I could theoreticly take RDM to 60 before having to stop and level DNC again. I also think THF/DNC amy be fairly good with a fast dagger. Sure, shadows from /NIN may be better, but I can still test it and find out, no? And yes, I like my little DNC, plain and simple. ^^ I just need to get THF to 70 so I can break the limit and then take RDM and DNC to 75. I will then merit on DNC and RDM and take THF the rest of the way. Then more merits on THF and see how far I can get. :3 I'll hopefully be able to solo a few missions and get more fame so I can upgrade my gobbie bag again. ><; I'm very bad on my inventory. Like, patheticly so. But yeah. ^^; I'll deal.
Now, I am currently leveling RNG, so yeah. I get to have some fun with arrows. >>;3 I like sniping things. Now, RNG with Bind would rule, anyone know how to get that? If so, tell me. I'm not so fond of leveling on worms... But yeah. ^^;;

He he he... >;3 I got it last night. I could have solo'd it if I had wanted to, but having a 75 BST/WHM tag along and show me where the place was reeeaaallly helped. XD I was going the entire wrong way and he showed me where it was. Sneak/Invis and later just Invis was the hardest parts to keep up. The run was long, <Flee> would have been real nice, but I didn't have that. My RDM was getting aggro from EP and they were tough at points. So yeah. I'll be coming back there to level some. >:3 See how far RDM/DNC gets me. XD Hopefully to 60 and full AF but yeah. ;3 Anyway! <Castle Oztroja> wasn't that hard. All in all, it took me probably about 2 hours grand total, mainly cause of running and misclicks that send me three zones from my target zone, but I got it. :3 It IS soloable. If you are on Fairy and need help with this Mission, /tell Kiayashi and I'll come help you if my time allows.
Now, I'll do another post on my intentions now that I have that lovely airship pass. XD

Well, I've finally gotten sick of waiting for my LS to come help me and bring the other members that need Rank 5 with us. So, I'm flying it solo. I'm 2/3 the way done, I only have one area left to atain the Magicite from. <Castle Oztroja>. I have <Davoi> and <Beadeaux> Magicites. Summary of the two area? Sure... Read on.

Not too hard. I went in as a Red Mage 44. I subbed Dancer with the original intentions of <Spectral Jig>ing my but through it. I wasn't quite high enough level to have my <Spectral Jig> however, but didn't think about it until I was in the field and got attacked while stopping to rest for MP, as I had let my <Refresh> wear off like a bad Red Mage ;; , and to wait on <Silence> to wear. <Pugil> aggro'd me, I stood and beat him to death with my Buzzard Tuck and <Silence> wore. Killed, rested, and continued on my merry way. I DID have a directional guide for it, I had the map but used it to make sure I wasn't getting my self lost in the place. Yes, I have REDICULOUSLY HORRIBLE directional skills. ;; Oh well, I got through, got my Magicite, and got out. No <Warp>, spell or scroll. I didn't really need Sneak/Invis but I kept them up anyway. I will warn you however, if you think you are going to have to fight, GET SILENCED. I know, crazy, death for a mage job like <White Mage> or <Black Mage>, but if you don't, try living with 1/5 your max HP and MP. I desided to test it once I realized I wasn't going to get aggro, I walked past an 'Afflictor' with no <Silence>. I looked my HP/MP bar and even popped my stat roll to check my sight. I about hit the floor and I stopped. Rested, waited on it to wear, and then healed and buffed before running on. Yeah, they weren't kidding about the 'powerful curse' bit. You are warned...

I hate this place. I offically freaking hate it. The only place I got aggro... From a freaking Dragoon-class Orc... Yeah, then I get link from a freaking Monk that desided to zip by me with a few mobs on his arse... --; Not fun. I ended up fighting three and proved my LS leader to be right. Dancer is broken, I should have died there but I managed to get my HP all the way up in a few dances with no trouble at all and still had time to let my <Refresh> effect refill my MP so I could nuke them a few times. But other than that, I had no real issues. I had to follow the directions on the paper though, as I had no map. It wasn't that hard, more of long than anything else. No special notes other than they aggro level 44 and hit like trucks. So yeah. Have fun dodging Orcs and remember that they like to aggro Sight. Keep invis up and you are good.
Now, tonight I will be getting the third Magicite. I may have help due to the levers, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I'll add to this tomorrow if I get help or whatever, I will get Rank 5 tonight. ^^
