Alice’s POV

Chero Aoyama was enjoying a nice day reading a book under her favorite tree. The wind pulled playfully at her chestnut curls and at the light blue dress she wore. She wished she lived in a fantasy world like the one in her book...

The book had her full attention until she heard someone pass by her.

She looked up to see a young blonde man dressed in a suit....with....white rabbit ears?!

“Hello?” she questioned, marking her place and getting up from her spot, gently placing the book down.

“Ahhh… Forgive me, my lady! This is just a simple shortcut for I’m laaa----- aaAAAAAA”

Chero gasped and hurried after the man. She witnessed him trip over his own feel and continue to roll, right into a hole. “Sir are you okay?!”

He was a bigger klutz than her. She poked her head down into the hole. No sound? No light? Was there even a bottom?

“Hello?!” she called, “Oh well...”

Maybe she had been reading too much. She started to stand up to leave, but a strong wind seemed to pull her straight down into the hole. Or maybe she tripped?

When Chero arrived at the bottom of the tunnel she was in a room with checkered flooring. It was rather empty, sans a table in the center of the room and a tiny door. She saw a small bottle on the table and a key. She placed the key in her dress pocket and read the label on the bottle.

“Drink me?” she read, “When one drinks a bottle that says ‘Drink me’ one is just asking to be poisoned. But since there is nothing else to try...I might as well try it...”

She downed the contents of the bottle. Her body started to tingle and then shrink.

“Curiouser and curiouser! The bottle had a sort of shrinking potion in it!” she cried.

“Are you coming or what?” a rather crabby door asked.

She looked at the door in disbelief, “Did you just talk?”

“I did, you stupid girl. Now use that key in your pocket to unlock me and leave...”

Chero did what the door asked and left, “What a sour door...”

The brunette’s eyes went wide. There was a whole world through the door. Everything was huge too! She kept walking, looking for someone to help her figure out where in the world she was...If she was even on Earth anymore...

Chero heard some talking so she followed the voice, tumbling through a large bush.

“Jenny, I can hear you still!” the voice called to her.

“Who is this Jenny you speak of?” Chero asked.

She found herself looking at a girl. A girl with antennae, dressed in blue...smoking a...hooka? No. not even real smoke, but bubbles. The worm girl locked eyes with her and grinned. She puffed out some bubbles in Chero’s face.

The bubbles turned into letters.

“Who. Are. You?” the girl asked.

Chero coughed and sputtered on the bubbles, “I’m Chero! And it’s rude to blow bubbles in people’s faces!”

“Why?”

“Because it can cause damage to one’s lungs!”

The girl rolled over onto her stomach and leaned her head in her hands, a grin on her face.

“Is there something you need, girl?” she asked.

“I told you, my name is Chero! And since you asked I would very much like to go home, can you tell me how to get there and...where I am?”

“You’re in Wonderland. And if you wish to go home...I suggest you ask the White Rabbit who led you here.”

“Where can I find him?” Chero asked, crossing her arms.

“Who?”

“The White Rabbit!” Chero cried.

“Never heard of him~” the caterpillar smirked.

“You are irritating!” Chero cried, stomping off.

“I’m late!” a voice cried.

“Mister Rabbit! Please wait!” Chero cried after him.

After running around, running into talking flowers and other odd sorts, Chero had finally gotten to her normal size with the help of a magic mushroom. She was looking for the stupid White Rabbit, but he was too fast for her. Even with all the tripping!

“Oh dear...” Chero sighed, “Whatever am I to do? I have only met one actual person here and they were of no help at all!”

“Did someone say help?” a girl’s voice called.

“Hello Weary Traveler!” another girl greeted.

Chero stared at the two girls dressed in almost identical outfits. One had short blonde hair and the other long brown hair.

“Can you two help me?” Chero asked.

“It depends...”said the blonde.

“Can you help us?” the brunette finished.

“Help you with what?” Chero asked.

“Ending our boredom!” the said together.

“....And how do I do that?” Chero sighed.

“By playing a game with us!” the blonde grinned, “I’m Kiki.”

“And I’m Mocha!”

“One of us always tells the truth-”

“and the other always lies!”

“If you can tell us who tells the truth-”

“and who lies-”

“then we will help you on your way!” they said together.

“Any restrictions?” Chero asked.

“You can only ask us yes or no questions,” Mocha said.

“And you can only ask us two questions!” Kiki grinned.

Chero narrowed her eyes in annoyance. She sighed, “Alright. I’ll play.”
She looked at each twin. If she asked who the liar was...they would say each other. She had to ask them a question that had a distinct answer.

“Are you both female?” Chero asked.

“No,” Mocha said.

“While I hate identifying with a title like male or female...because what does gender really matter?....I will have to say yes...” Kiki sighed.

Chero stared at the twins.

“Does Kiki have a shade of blonde hair?” Chero asked.

“While I would hate to put a label on the color of my hair...I would have to
say yes,” Kiki scoffed.

“Nope. Kiki does not have blonde hair...” Mocha sighed.

Chero grinned, “Mocha’s the liar! Can you two please lead me to the White Rabbit?”

Mocha and Kiki looked at each other and grinned. They both pointed left. Chero curtsied in thanks and went on her way.

“Good luck!” Mocha called.

“I soooo ship it!” Kiki called after Chero.

“Ship what?” Mocha asked.

“Chino~”

“Well I never! To think those two girls sent me off and did not even tell me how far until I would reach my destination....” Chero sighed.

Chero kept walking. Her feet were starting to hurt, but she desperately wanted to go home. She looked up and saw two signs.

“Which way should I go?” she asked no one in particular.

“Lose something, cherie?” a smooth French accent asked her.

Chero spun around only to see nothing there, but to not be rude...and due to the absurdity of this land she replied, “Oh my! oh, no no, I was just... uh never mind....”

Suddenly a man started to appear from nowhere. He had blonde waves and had a set of cat ears poking out of his head. He also had a tail and a wide grin on his face.

“Oh! You’re a cat!” Chero exclaimed.

“A Cheshire cat, cherie~” he purred, starting to fade again.

“Oh, please wait!” Cheo begged.

He grinned and came back, “Oui~?”

“I was just wondering if you could help me find my way...” Chero sighed.

“It depends on which way you want to go~”

“Well anyway is fine as long as-”

“Then it does not really matter which path you take~”

“I just need to find the White Rabbit!” Chero whined.

“If I were looking for a white rabbit, I'd ask ze Mad Hatter,” the cat replied, pointing to the left path

“The Mad Hatter? Oh no no no!” Chero whined, not wanting to talk to someone who
was insane.

The cat pointed to the right, “Zen, you could ask the March Hare, in that direction~”

“Oh, thank you I think I-”

“But...She’s mad too.”

Chero stomped her foot in frustration, “But I don’t want to be among mad people!”

“Oh, but cherie~ You can’t ‘elp zat~ We’re all mad here!” he grinned.

He laughed starting to vanish, “Ohon hon hon~ As you can see I’m not all zere myself~”

Chero sighed in frustration and started to head towards the Mad Hatter’s. Since she really did not have a choice in the matter.

Chero kept going until she heard what sounded like a party. Sitting around the table was two girls. One with a large pink hat on her head, dressed like a gypsy, with caramel skin and brown hair. The other girl had short brunette hair, glasses and a pair of rabbit ears on her head.

They grinned and jumped towards Chero, “HAPPY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!”

She blinked and smiled, “Thank yo- EEK!”

She froze as a cup smashed right beside her. The rabbit girl giggled like a madwoman and grinned. “Welcome~!”

“I’m Hime, the Mad Hatter and this is Jenny the March Hare,” the girl with the hat said.

“The guy sleeping to the side over there is Dante, the dormouse. He’s my Wifu’s lazy boyfriend...” Jenny sighed.

“Sooo...” Hime said, looking at Chero with expectation.

“Um...?” she questioned.

“What do you need? Did you come for tea?! I insist that you have a nice cup of tea!” Jenny said, pulling Chero along and into a seat.

Chero looked at the cup of tea in front of her and started to lift it up to her lips.

“CLEAN CUP! MOVE DOWN!” Hime cried, pushing Chero along.

“But I didn’t get to drink my first cup!” she sputtered.

“Too bad!” Jenny giggled.

“Would you like a little more tea?” Hime asked, pouring her a cup.

“Well, I haven't had any yet, so I can't very well take more,” Chero sighed.

“Ah, you mean you can't very well take less!” Jenny giggled.

“Yes. You can always take more than nothing,” Hime added.

“I just want to find the White Rabbit!” she whined.

Hime and Jenny froze, a devious look on their faces appeared, “You mean Dino?”

Chero sighed and nodded.

“Why didn’t you say something earlier?” Hime asked.

“Hime, do you think she’s...?” Jenny started.

“Shhh...” Hime hushed, “If you head out of the garden and go right you can’t miss him!”

“But H-” Jenny complained.

Hime covered her mouth, and shooed Chero away. Chero walked out very confused.

“She has to be the one!” Hime fangirled.

“So...she’s Alice! She’s going to help us!” Jenny cheered.

“Shhh!” Hime shushed, “The Queen’s henchmen are everywhere...”

Chero crossed her arms and kept walking. She looked around terribly lost.

“Oh bother. Where could I be now? I...I’m lost. I just want to go home!” she sobbed, wiping at her tears, “It would be so nice if something would make sense for a change!”

She kept walking and looking around, “Well, when I was lost, I suppose it's
good advice to stay where you are until someone finds you. But who'd ever think to look for me here? Good advice. If I listened earlier, I wouldn't be here. But that's just the trouble with me. I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it....”

“‘Ow fortunate that I found you, zen~”

Chero looked up to see the Cheshire cat in a tree.

“Cheshire cat!” she cried.

“Oui~ You may call me Francis~” he purred.

“The Mad Hatter and March Hare were no help at all!” she sobbed, “I want to go home!”

“Je suis désolé, mon cherie. My cute Jenny ez usually more ‘elpful zan zat. What did she say?”

“To walk this way and I would find the White Rabbit!” she huffed.

“I guess you’ll have to go ze Queen’s way~” he hummed.

“But I don’t want to go the Queen’s way!” she insisted.

“All ways ‘ere are ze Queen’s way!”

“But I haven’t met any queen!”

“You haven't? You ha-VEN'T? Oh, but you must! She'll be mad about you, simply mad!” he grinned, tail swishing back and forth.

“Please, please! H-How can I find her?” Chero begged.

“Well...some go zis way...” he said, pointing and then pointed another way,

“Some go that way. But I prefer ze shortcut~”

He waved his arm and a door appeared on the tree he was standing on. It opened up to show a palace. Chero looked through.

“Thank you, Francis!” she smiled.

Francis blew her a kiss as she walked through the door. Well. His job was done.

“Zat was ea-”

He was cut off by a tea cup crashing next to his head, “Ma cherie!”

He floated down next to Jenny who looked really mad. Hime was right behind her with a sword in her hand.

“What is ze matter?” he asked.

“You. Let. Her. Go!” Jenny shrieked.

“Who?”

“Alice!” Hime said.

“Whoops...”

Chero looked around the palace. Well. this woman liked red. and hearts. A lot.

“Look!” a voice called.

Chero froze as a woman with long black hair dressed in red walked over to her.
She looked to the man next to her, who had long white hair and a serious
expression on his face.

“Who is this?” she asked, looking Chero over.

“Let me see, my dear. It's certainly not a heart. Do you suppose it's a club?” the man replied.

“I’m not a club!” Chero insisted, “I’m a girl!”

“A girl?” the Queen gasped, “Sesshomaru...do you think?”

The King closed his eyes, “We cannot be sure. Let’s do it just in case...”

The queen clapped gleefully, “Off with her head then!”

Chero stared in shock at what the woman just ordered. WHY?!

Jenny knocked on the White Rabbit’s house. Dino opened it and looked at his friends with confusion. Hime, Kiki, Mocha, Danni, Dante, Francis and Jenny. They were all there and they looked angry at him.

“What is wrong?” he asked.

“YOU LET ALICE INTO WONDERLAND AND NOW SHE IS GOING TO BE KILLED BY THE QUEEN BEFORE WE CAN GET HER TO LUNA!” Jenny screamed into his bunny ears.

Dino covered his ears and stared at his friend more. A-Alice? She was here? But he never...He didn’t....That girl. The one who was reading! This was all his fault....

“Bene! Bene! I’ll fix this...” he sighed.

Yes...this was going to be a long day.
