Painful cheap art supply

Aaaaaahhhhhrgh!
I make this post to talk about art supply, to be more specific cheap art supply.

I have to be honest, when I use cheap art supply I actually have more fun, and I'm more proud of my work because if I'm able to pull it off, it means that I actually have some skills. I think we can all agree that having knowledge and practice and skills it's 100 times more important than having expensive art supply, because no matter what you use, you won't be able to do much better than with cheaper stuff, if you don't know the basic!
and thank goodness for all of us who love art, it's way easier to get some skills than getting expensive stuff! (it require patience, and a lot of passion and practice but everyone can do it!)

This it's the tools I used for my last draw (it was fun but also painful to do XD):

Some portable watercolor that I got at a prize draw (and it was the consolation prize for the unlucky losers like me! OTL) It's really low quality so it's 2-3 euros?

some Ikea watercolors pencils my mother got me called MÅLA (don't you just love ikea names???) they were 3,99 euros and I tell you that's too much for the quality they are!

and last but least my "sofia la principessa" pencils that I got for 1,80 euros in a dollar store. they're not too bad for they're price actually! in fact colored pencils are the best art supply when it come to cheapness, since even not too expencive brands can be quite good, and in general it's the time you take to layer and blend them that counts.

do you guys use any kind of cheap art supply maybe? (for cheap art supply I mean for what is it, I mean 2-3 euros are not much money of course, but they're quite a while for some kind of tools like a single gel pen for example.)

Stay groovy ;-)
