GUYS. I AM NOW SO BEHIND ON EVERYTHING I WILL NEVER CATCH UP.
Been working my ass off though. Money is good. Except commissions are going not so great since the people have kind of... stopped contacting me.
Also, thinking of abandoning my DA account ~_~ The new layout sucks and I'm kind of stupid/lazy and don't want to bother getting used to it/figuring it out. Which means more art here, yah?
A-actually, I've sort of been posting all my sketches and stuff over here anyway. I kept meaning to essentially make this journal a mirror of that one, but hand of laziness Actually, I just keep forgetting.
lol Robot arm
This is one of my characters, Koudai, based on the outfit Lady Gaga wears at the beginning of the Paparazzi video (with the crutches). This was requested by a friend. I wish it were better, because my friend is stressed out right now and needs some cheering up T___T But I'm having trouble finding motivation. Originally the image was a lot larger, but I kept failing at anatomy ~_~ so I just cropped it.
Also, totally randomly... I was going through some old drawings and found some things friends had mailed to me. I kind of miss having a penpal of sorts T__T I used to do it a lot... mail drawings and books and stickers and things to friends. I used to draw way more back then too D8
Has anyone else done anything like that? Hahahahaa, people are so worried about creepy stalkers on the internet now T_T Maybe no one does this anymore? I think I'd love to do it again though~
So, uh... if anyone wants to do this, you can totally PM me and we can discuss it. Just saying.
Sketch Dump
Have some sketches. Normally I don't share stuff like this, but I've been doing more original work and don't want it to appear as though I've fallen off the face of the earth again.

Character design sketch. This guy's name is Kael. He's from a story/comic I've been working on for a while. I've been reworking a lot of the designs for it and I hope to actually start the thing soon! I'm doing a lot of fanfic based on the characters now, in an attempt to get a better feel for them... but hopefully I'll be drawing it soon!
Anyway, he's the 'bad guy' only not really. That little chibi in the corner is by a friend of mine. I didn't know what to do about his hair and so she drew that XP
Counterpart to the above guy. This guy is Jothee. This is actually just an updated version of this. Also, pardon how inconsistent I apparently am at drawing the same character D8
Two dudes sleeping together, in a totally platonic way. Tall guy is Garren, kid with the big ears is Levi (he's a rat, btw). This is for my own amusement, because Garren is dead during the main story line (from the same story as the above images), but I thought they would have gotten along well.
Garren is later 'reborn' as this demony thing, but his proportions are way way different... I kept wanting to draw him wrong for this one T_T which is why he's so ridiculously skinny. Here's a ridiculously old image of him here. He looks more like this and this now.
And a completely random kid with only one leg I'm pretty sure I haven't posted.
Some WIP stuff
I am totally obsessed with fish. True facts. You can't really tell they're fish from this preview though XP I'm basing them kind of on angler fish... so they'll have glowy parts and stuff. (and, yes, technically the same dude from the tentacle pic I posted a while back... I wanted to play with the character more.)
I like the guy in the back. He looks all pointy and snarky.
