The first Anime Convention in Zamboanga City!!! All Otaku were totally excited for the event, including myself, and a bit anxious for what will unfold there. I never knew that the city had loads of Anime/Manga fans. Walking into that convention, I felt like I was at home. I was very comfortable there mingling with other fans. I had a blast that weekend. The event was held on June 11, 2011 at the Grand Astoria Hotel. There was a lot going on and there were a ton of nice, friendly people there.
I've seen and been to conventions before, but I've never participated in them. Well, this time was an exception because Mindanao Cable TV (MCTV), the one who made the convention possible, chose me to be one of the judges for the Cosplay Competition. I was so psyched about it. I felt honored of course!!! Picking me out of all people to be the JUDGE--that was like a dream come true. My eyes sure feasted on the glorious and extremely remarkble costumes of the contestants. It was pretty hard to decide which one was the best of all. 
Hell, I didn't just go for kicks. I also went in costume, crossdressing as Ryoma Echizen from the popular Shounen series Prince of Tennis.
