You gotta fight, For your right, To PAR-TY!!!

Yeah, that's another song.

So....very sad turnout here at theO all of a sudden. What, you guys don't find me funny anymore, or what? I haven't had a comment for years now.

Well, I see a lot of changes here in theO. They've intro'd something called a member introduction, which allows newbies to gel with us seniors. I signed up on board for the mentorship program, mentoring one Haruki-chan right now. Though she hasn't shown up. Yet.

Whew, what a busy week I'm having! I've got five main courses, two optionals and about three extra-curriculars on my list, and none of them are any easy task. My core load is heavy enough, but the amount of study I'm having to do for PH402 (Ethics, my minor for this sem) more than makes up for the rest. So, every day, I'm sitting on my little sofa before me little study table, making translations or writing stupid articles in Japanese about why bathroom doors in Japan are made of glass. Like I care.

Feels like suffocating...

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I was listening to .977 Rock Channel on Screamer Radio today, and as the song came up (the one on my title), I came up with this:

Tell me:
How shall we see our lovers?
Through the eyes of sullen disregard
and put-upon mercy?

Or through the eyes
blinded by endless tears,
which, like curtains,
do wash blood away.

Oh my! How blinded we are!

Yet eyes will cut eyes,
and see us go down
in our lovers' arms:
We shall go laughing.

P.S. Has anyone volunteered for the mentorship program yet? I have, though my newbie hasn't responded yet.

Ahh...pissed off.

Why are titles required?

I'm in a really bad mood today. What happened was that we had an essay contest sponsored by the Japan Foundation. Our translation teacher was the convenor in our university. None of us really wanted to write, so none of us took part.

Bad move.

Today she came, and asked for the sheets. Silence.

Well, she got pissed and asked who was participating. Silence.

Now she got REALLY mad, and started pointing out particular people, yours truly among them. Then began a non-stop fifteen-minute tirade of the most vicious sarcasm I have ever seen. She spared none of us; everyone got their earful of shit. We were half begging for mercy, half raging in anger after that.

But the worse thing was that the teacher actually sulked for the remaining 35 minutes of the class. It really got my goat, it was so embarassingly disturbing. God.

After the class was over, everybody starts bitching on me. "Why the fuck didn't you write?" Now totally angry, I let them have it. I don't them how many of them I destroyed but I know that I must have hurt many of them. Now I'm really confused, and the weekend ain't really helping.

What a pain.

Sorry...I'm Starstruck

Wow.

Yesterday was.

Awesomely.

I'm sorry if I'm not making sense. Yesterday was pure awesomeness. Toward the Terra ended yesterday, and what an ending it was! Everything wrapped itself up, and left me all emotional and stunned. What an anime!!! *claps for Wellthink/Aniplex* Keep it comin!

Then, at night, we watched some more awesomeness. Slumdog Millionaire was so great, I can find no words now. It's such a heartbreaking, wonderful, exciting, enthralling, inspirational movie-I'm in LOVE with it! We watched the whole one and a half hours of it--then replayed the whole last hour, it was so spectacular. I recommend it to everyone of you now, coz it's one of the most hardhitting movies to come out of India in recent times. Go watch!

Wotcher.

Well, so....Happy Chinese New Year. May the Ox bring y'all lots of animanga this year.

I'm back in the saddle after a long time now. I'm signing up one after the another. As you can see above, I just signed up on IMEEM as well. Already have a playlist, too, with 60 tracks stolen from other people. So, please look me up if you're around there.
