Hello and welcome to Keba's Anime and Manga Place (KAAMP for short)! Here at KAAMP, I write about anime and manga that I have seen/read as well as my views on them. I'll also post about my original stories from time to time.

Just beware that some of my posts contain spoilers. I'll put them in spoiler tags just in case.

KAAMP's history: KAAMP was created in July 2002 by yours truly. It was a sloppy-looking website on Yahoo's now defunct Geocities. I posted my anime fan art on that site. Also, for a time, I posted my thoughts on the few anime series that I had seen. Now that I look back on it, my thoughts were rather ill-informed (is that even a word?) because I had only seen bits and pieces of anime dubs. Now that I've seen more series, I think that my commentary on various anime will be a little better than before.

So, come on in and stay awhile! KAAMP is now in session.

High Time for a Check-In

Heya guys. Just wanted to say "hi".

OK, that's not entirely true. I want to say more.

After posting that one picture and feeling so proud, I have art block again. I mean, I have some motivation, but no ideas.

I also kinda want to write my stories again. It's been such a long time, that I feel a little afraid to go back. I was also debating as to whether I should post my stories on Toyhouse. Anyone else have an account there? (Don't worry; my stories won't leave theO.)

I'm trying to think of a topic for this month's discussion. "What upcoming anime are you excited about?" seems a little too generic. I was kicking around the idea of something having to do with reboots, sequels, and spin-offs, although I vaguely remember having a discussion about that some years ago. Any thoughts/suggestions?

In other news, I'm starting an anime DVD collection. So far I have a whopping four series. To be honest, I'm limiting it to series that I really like a lot, so that my wallet doesn't hurt too much.

And that's really it. Not much going on in Keba-land. I hope you all are well. If you want, you can let me know in the comments. >.< Dang, I sound like a YouTuber now. Or you could just make a World post. Whichever works best for you.

The Eternal Dilemma

I'm feeling inspired to draw, but I don't want to continue the 43681045019 art projects I have started. I want to draw something new. But what? I have no idea. At least I now know why my art output has been so low this year.

Don't you just love when this happens?

Arpdate

Explanation of the weird title: Art + Update = Arpdate

I've done a little art here and a little writing there. I finished a chapter of Destination and started a new one. Not sure why I felt like writing that one since it's my least popular piece, as far as I know. And I knew what I would write would be lousy, but I just wrote anyway. I'll edit it later.

I finished the basic coloring on my "movie poster". I don't know whether to post it or sit on it until I can figure out how to properly shade the thing. Then again, I messed up on the coloring of one character, so I'll have to fix that. What happened was I shaded on the base color layer by accident and it kind of looks really ugly.

A bunch of people signed up for the yearlong event I'm organizing. Then some of them announced that they were migrating from theO. *Facepalm.* Maybe I should track down people and beg by PM.

Well Then

One month of the year has gone by and no finished art from me. I guess I'm not making my New Year's resolution quota. Oddly enough, I'm not that disappointed. I, at least, made some progress on two different pictures in the past 31 days. Hopefully I'll get something done this month.

You know, it's a little sad that this World has devolved from my opinions on anime to non-updates on my art. Oh well. It is what it is.

Anime and Art

Yeah, real clever title, I know.

The Anime:

So, I was hanging out with some people and we previewed a couple anime series. The first was One-Punch Man, which I had been wanting to see. Now that I get the set-up, I hope it's not going to be a one-note sort of anime.

The second series I previewed was The Devil Is a Part-Timer. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, since I didn't know much about it. Turned out that it's really funny. I think I might want to watch more.

The Art:

I actually completed a drawing! Well, what do ya know? I still have it in me.

Since I'm in such a drawing mood right now, I was thinking about OCtober. I'm a bit hesitant because (a) I don't have enough OCs and (b) I might fall behind. I mean, I have a lot of time on my hands now, but who knows when that'll change?

Another thing I'm debating about is art trades. I'd like to do some, but those can have so many variables to them.

So... thoughts?
