Manga Studio Disappeared--

--in the middle of inking. I don't know where it is, but until someone reinstalls Manga Studio on my computer, LoveNote is ONCE AGAIN postponed. I'm really sorry to those of you who were looking to my 68 page one shot gamer romance, but it looks like it'll be a while.

In other news: I need commissions. I have to raise $145 for a plane ticket to Tallahassee on March 1st and another $200 for another plane ticket on April 30th. Thankfully, after April I will no longer need to raise money like this in such a short amount of time.

I've pretty much willing to draw whatever for cash, as long as it's not pornographic (nekid activities and such). I can even draw you a comic if you have a story you can't draw yourself or you would like to see in my style. Or, if you simply want an illustration of your choosing, I can definitely do that for you. For a price (hence, commission).

Character Sketch: $5
Black and White Comic Strip: $8
Full Black and White Comic: $10/page

Since Manga Studio isn't available at the moment, I'll be using traditional inking and pencil methods, as well as Photoshop CS6.

I'll do art for you: read on please!

Hey guys--because of the hurricane, my flea marketing opportunity won't be possible this weekend. That said, I'll be accepting commissions--I can do portraits, cartoons, whatever you want. I need to make $100 by Wednesday, so if I get 5 $20 commission slots, I'll be good. Help me out here!

Commissions on MangaBullet

I'm open for commissions now--at least stop by and see!!

I just finished another piece for my studio art class--another cardboard piece, but this time I added more than just white watercolour: There's some grey, some red, a dash of blue, and a little bit of pink mixed with the red...I such at painting, so maybe I'm cheating by using it on cardboard XD (you can also commission me on a cardboard piece too, HINT HINT)(lol).

I'm off to sketch now, bye bye!

PS-It feels grand to be back in the drawing groove <3

Pain...

My dad got mad at me this morning because I didn't want to wake up to do my training today. On my part, I really could have survived 2.5miles with 4hours of sleep, but I was still in pain from the previous days. Hey Mo, remember those sit-ups I showed you when you slept over? The kind where you twist your body from one knee to the other? I'm doing those practically upside down now =( And I'm still nowhere close to a split, so flag practice tomorrow's gonna be hell for me--I need those panels by tonight so I can start the lineart for the comic!! DX

Pyrofire2007 is helping me figure my way around commissions; I'm very thankful =3

I've been going back and forth from my virtual school to comic to something else that's not beneficial to me at all, and back to virtual school. Speaking of the comic, a classmate texted me and said he'd pay $10 for my $5 comic, even though I told him it was only $5 to begin with--this is good =D I don't know how to price the comic, though. I talked to my older brother and V-chan about it, and they said $10 would be reasonable(since it's around 30pgs)--but since graphic novels are the same price it'd seem kind of expensive...but since we're printing and binding at home(my brother has one of those special staplers and we have a laser printer)going a bit more than $5 may be alright...I'll lower the price as the days go on for Chibi-Pa I guess.

The comic is coming along nicely--a couple of my peers have read it so far and love it, although there are some parts that seem unclear(I guess that's what I get for watching so much fast-paced anime based off of 4-5 paneled manga and slice-of-life). Minto said that we actually have more done than we did last year =D My only problem is, I can draw fast...I'm just so freaking lazy. Then sometimes I spend too much time on one thing so it takes longer to complete a page. Mo, thanks for being my assistant/editor or else I couldn't have made it this far (TAT)/

Shut up KF and get back to work >=O

Help Wanted!!

Mon Jul 20, 2009, 5:14 PM

* Mood: Embarrassed
* Listening to: "Australia"-The Shins

I want to start doing commissions, small ones like rough/clean sketches and the occasional line art, but I don't know how to go about it. Is there someone out there that's willing to help me and walk me through the steps on how to do a commission? I won't charge for it, and the person that helps me gets to keep whatever I worked on for the mock commission.

My reason for doing this? I'm not allowed to get a regular job, such as working at a store and such--and even if I could I wouldn't be able to make it to work since I've yet to get my permit(I'm actually supposed to have my license by now) and since my parents never really let me explore where I live, I don't know my way around my neighborhood. Ride a bike you say? Never learned =D Rollerblade? Sure, but the roads are too bumby for me to get around safely. Walk? Not allowed. I also feel bad when my parents give me money, and we're not exactly in the situation where I can get spare change around here. So, my best option was to do commissions since they don't interfere much with my schoolwork(dammit IB Programme).

If you know anyone that can help, or if you can help, please do =( But please note...I'd rather not do any nude scenes...DX
