Wow, so this place seems really dead now.
But in lieu of being at work with (currently) nothing to do, I guess I can sum up some exciting experiences in the past few years.
- I went to three different colleges total. After my 6th year majoring in Philosophy I dropped out. Basically it got super expensive, and the only classes I had left to complete my major were super boring intro-type classes that I kept skipping. So if I decide to go back one day, I'm going to do it right. For now I'm very content.
- I'm working at a comic book store. I absolutely love the job. But I did get robbed at gunpoint earlier this year. More "WTF?!" than frightening. Either way it kind of sucked. But the job is still the best I've ever had.
- After being through many relationships, some good, some really bad, I'm getting married in a couple months. We're having a Pokemon wedding cake. We met at college and he's this super positive, smart, fun guy.
- We also have the cutest cat in existence.
- I'm one of the admins for Slug Chicks, so I'm working on scanlating Junji Ito and various other horror manga! It's all very exciting.
- I also created and run the Junji Ito Index, my labor of love. I've done one giveaway so far and had some great artists contribute.
- After 6 years of smoking I'm trying to quit.
- I don't read much manga or watch much anime anymore. I almost exclusively read the manga that we translate with Slug Chicks, and that's about it. I've gotten much more into Korean horror films and classic monster movies.
And that about catches me up!

Wow. So I guess I'm back to see who else I remember is still around.
It's been a number of years since I kind of left here in a huff. But I'd like to think I've changed since then.
