Kyle was about to kill himself when he met Audrey, who saved his life. the two became instant best friends, and Kyle, homeless before, moved in with him. he began working at a bakery where he met Asher.
the two started dating, but Asher was extremely emotionally and physically abusive. when Kyle revealed to Audrey that he had been raped, Audrey killed Asher. that night, Kyle expressed his self-hatred but Audrey kissed away his pain and the two stayed together.
after a big fight, Audrey introduces Kyle to Hector, an oracle. the oracle explains that Kyle and Audrey are not meant to be together. Kyle starts dating Hector, who is nice... but Kyle can't get over Audrey.
Audrey ends up seducing Kyle, and, being an incubus, nearly kills him during sex because he couldn't control his demon nature. Kyle loses his grace (losing his wing, his regenerative powers)
