Upgrading my PC

So I hadn't had a chance to play many games while I was making my own and between the last time I played and now, I'd upgraded to Windows 10. Weeellll, seems like that may have thrown off the delicate, duct-tape held balance I had because pretty much most of my games graphics and speed took a nosedive. =/ I'd always meant to upgrade after getting this desktop, but I'd put it off because things worked "just well enough." Soooo, I'm gonna get some parts. Not all at once but maybe over the next few months. I'll be happy when it's all together. Here's what I've got in mind:

GPU (Graphics card): NVIDIA GTX 1060 3gb
CPU (Processor): AMD FX-8370 Black Edition with Wraith Cooler
Motherboard: MSI 990FXA
SSD (Solid State Drive): Crucial MX100 512GB
Case: DIYPC Zondda-O Black USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower
RAM: Generic 2x8GB (total 16GB)

And I can take the power supply unit, DVD drive, and 1TB hard drive out of my current computer and put it in the new rig. I may also need thermal paste, but I don't know if the CPU bundle has it included. I'm looking forward to being able to run my games at better graphic levels =3 Also being able to use animation programs and video editing programs with less drag.
